TV News – CBS Announces Fall Schedule Plus ABC, NBC & CW Updates!

CBS has announced their Fall schedule and there are some surprises. Stupidly (ok, my opinion, but I know tons of people online who agree), they have cancelled Jericho. No surprise, although sadly, they also cancelled The Class & Close to Home, but shockingly, they renewed Patrick Warburton & Megyn Price’s comedy Rules of Engagement.

Other surprises include the renewal of The New Adventures of Old Christine, (please oh please let Blair Underwood come back. He’s such a hottie!), which will come back mid-season, along with The Amazing Race and the new drama Swingtown. You can read more about all of the CBS Fall schedule here: The Futon Critic

In other news, the season finale of Boston Legal is pushed back to Tuesday, May 29th @ 10/9c on ABC. They will air the 2-hour season finale of Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor: After the Final Rose on May 22nd starting @ 8/7c instead. Read more here: The Futon Critic

ABC has also announced that they will wait til after the Upfronts are over to make a firm decision about the fate of According to Jim. Why? Cause they can. NBC has made the same announcement about The Apprentice (they give a date of June 1st for the decision) and the CW about Veronica Mars (although it’s been said they have til June 15th). So if those are your shows, don’t fret. There is still a glimmer of hope. Not much more than a glimmer, but a little bit. 😉 Read more here: The Futon Critic
