Breast Cancer Walk & Listing Update

I have this on a tab, but I doubt many of you have seen it. So I wanted to post it here since it’s for such a great cause. Both my mother and my mother-in-law had breast cancer and a mastectomy (my mom a single, mil a double) and are both cancer free today, thank goodness. But other women aren’t so lucky.

A very good friend of mine is participating in the 2007 San Diego Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk this year. She is raising money for a very, very good cause. Almost everyone has been touched in some way by breast cancer, whether it is themselves or a member of their family, a friend, teacher or just friend of a friend. For me, my mom and my mother-in-law both had breast cancer and both had a mastectomy. So this is a cause near and dear to my heart. If you can, why not do your part and donate to such a fantastic cause? Check out Chris’s donation page!

“Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.” Please, if you can donate even $5, you can read more about it and give here: Chris’s Donation Page

On a lighter note, my husband is going to help me figure out an easy way to do the listings for each week/day in each way, to give you the option of which way you want to see them. Since there is no runaway winner on the poll, I thought this might be a good compromise! So be patient and hopefully in the next couple of weeks, we’ll get that to you. 🙂 Thanks!
