This Week on TV – 3/30/08-4/5/08

Welcome to a new week of TV! Some good stuff this week, including the mini series on Lifetime Movie Network, , the premieres of The Tudors & State of the Union (both on Showtime) and more! So let’s get to it! Jump with me to see this week’s schedule!

Sunday

Sunday is the first of the 2 part miniseries, The Capture fo the Green River Killer, on Lifetime Movie Network at 8/7c. It stars Tom Cavanagh (Ed on Ed), Amy Davidson (Kerry Hennessy on 8 Simple Rules), James Marsters (Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) & more and is based on a true story. Check out the site later for an interview with Amy Davidson and preview of the show! Part 1 begins with teenagers and close friends Helen & Natalie as they try to escape from their rough existence from a Seattle trailer park. Without their knowing, they are on a collision course with the Green River Killer, who targets runaways and prostitutes.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union on Showtime at 10/9c. The show will feature a kaleidoscope of original characters and impersonations in a wide collection of irreverent and hilarious skits that range from sardonic parody and social satire to Bollywood musicals. The series is a snapshot of modern day America as seen through the brilliant comedic mind of Tracey Ullman.
