Tuesday is a huge night for me. I am a game show junkie and tonight is game show heaven. But first, tonight is also the premiere of the Rescue Me Minisodes on FX at 10/9c. They are 5 minutes each! How cute! 😉 Click the link to find out more about them.

Now on to my favorite part of the night (week, really). First up is Celebrity Family Feud on NBC at 8/7c. Hosted by Al Roker (Today show co-host), it pits 2 sets of families against each other twice an episode for a chance to win up to $50 for their charity. Tonight’s episode features Ice-T & family will playing for Unity 2 against Joan & Melissa Rivers & family, who will be playing for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Following them is Raven-Symone & family will be playing for the American Red Cross against Wayne Newton & his family, who will be playing for The USO.

The 2nd game show tonight is going to be my personal favorite, Wipeout on ABC at 8/7c. Twenty-four contenders compete in an extreme obstacle course designed to provide the most crashes, face plants, impacts and wipe outs ever seen on television. During each one-hour episode, one competitor will win the title of Wipeout champion and $50,000. It is hosted by John Anderson (ESPN’s SportsCenter), Jill Wagner (from Blade: The Series on Spike TV) & comedian John Henson (Talk Soup). If you have ever seen MXC (formerly known as Most Extreme Elimination Challenge) on Spike TV, this should be VERY similar, except with Americans and all in English. My husband & I absolutely love watching MXC so we are absolutely psyched for this one.

Finally, another that we are really pumped for is I Survived a Japanese Game Show on ABC at 9/8c. This unscripted reality/game show takes an eye-opening, behind-the-scenes look at 10 Americans who are whisked away to Japan and compete in the ultimate Japanese game show. The results and prizing will be based on who best adapts to the Japanese culture and challenges in each episode. My boss is constantly sending me clips from YouTube & what not with Japanese & Korean game shows. They are always hysterical. So going to enjoy this one a lot too. 😀

Tonight also features the season premiere of Shear Genius on Bravo at 10/9c and the series premiere of The Baby Borrowers on NBC at 9/8c. This alternative series based on the hit British program that asks five teenage couples – ages 16 to 19 – to set up a home and begin fast-tracking on parenthood by becoming caring parents first to a baby, then a toddler, pre-teen and grandparents – all over the course of one month. As a parent, I say this should be hysterical to watch. 😉 They have NO idea what is coming. Eesh.

Friday is the season finale of 10 Years Younger on TLC at 10/9c. I enjoy this show. I watch it at like 2 in the morning when I’m working and half asleep. lol

Tonight is the series premiere of Dance Machine on ABC at 8/7c. Each episode features six real people from all walks of life who will face off against each other in a series of one-on-one dance offs to the most popular songs of all time. Imagine a 70-year-old grandmother in a dance off with a 25 year-old gravedigger, to the tune of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Throughout the course of the night contestants will be eliminated by voters in the studio audience. By the end of the evening, just two finalists will be left to challenge each other for the honor of being crowned that night’s “Dance Machine” – and to take home the $100,000 cash prize. Popular E!
