Fringe just cast Meghan Markle ( 90210, Deal or No Deal ), as a new, young FBI agent. The show’s creators had said that they let Kirk Acevedo go because they want to focus on Olivia ( Anna Torv ), Peter ( Joshua Jackson ) and Walter ( John Noble ) more. Markle’s character will only be a recurring character not a regular like Acevedo’s character, Charlie. I personally loved Charlie, and the dynamics of his relationship with Olivia, but Meghan Markle is a nice addition to the show, despite my sadness for the loss of Charlie. Besides, I watch the show for the crazy, scientific mysteries and of course, Joshua Jackson, so I’ll still be tuning in. Full article here with Zap2It

CBS premiere dates and more news after the jump

CBS has announced premiere dates for it’s new and returning shows. Pencils ready? I am personally circling a lot of these dates, especially September 22, for the premiere of the new NCIS: Los Angeles and also The Good Wife. Another day that is circled with a big, red heart is September 23 for the return of Criminal Minds. I love the show and I really, love Shemar Moore. Yummy! lol. That being said the whole week from September 21 to Sept 27 looks great! Check out the schedule with Kristin@E!Online Then tell me what you’re looking forward to the most.

According to Zap2It, Callum Blue has been cast as General Zod on Smallville. The British actor, whose work includes The Tudors and Secret Diary of a Call Girl, will be a regular nemesis in the ninth season. It should be a good story line as the powers of Zod are very similar to Superman’s, making it a pretty even fight. What do you think of the casting?

  1. Jenny says:

Woohoo! Callum Blue was on Dead Like Me, too, which is where I first saw him and have loved him since. I stopped watching Smallville last season but I may just have to pick it up again, simply because of him. πŸ˜€

  2. Megan says:

He is pretty great πŸ™‚ So between Brian Austin Green and Callum Blue I may have to start watching again too lol.
