Tonight is going to be an exciting night on So You Think You Can Dance, with Ellen Degeneres guest judging. I’m sure she’ll be hilarious and supportive, making it a great episode to watch! You can check back tomorrow for my recap of tonight’s show. Speaking of recaps you can now follow my recaps of Hell’s Kitchen under Just My Opinion as well. Did you see last night’s episode? It was a crazy episode, to say the least lol.
Okay enough about me and my recaps, onto some news after the jump. 🙂
Ausiello is reporting that Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Sopranos) will be joining the cast of Ugly Betty this coming season as Daniel’s new assistant, Natalie. In May’s finale, Betty was promoted to features editor, so Natalie will be taking over as Daniel’s assistant. The character is said to be spiritual, funny and obviously sexy (well, hello, Sigler is an attractive lady. lol), and will grace our screens in the second episode of Ugly Betty on October 9th. I think this is a great casting choice and I’m also getting excited to see how Betty fairs in her new position come Fall. My only remaining concern with Ugly Betty is if it’s going to survive being shipped to Fridays? Only Fall will tell.
It’s being rumored that Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) has been cast in one of the most sought after roles on TV right now, Katherine Parr on Showtime’s The Tudors. This is yet to be confirmed by Showtime, but sources say that Joely will play the last wife of Henry (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) in the final season, which will come out in Spring 2010. I enjoyed Richardson on Nip/Tuck, and although I’m not sure she’s the best choice for the role, we’ll see how it goes. What are your thoughts? Source
I love Nurse Jackie, and even more, I love Peter Facinelli’s character, Dr. Fitch Cooper, so an interview with Facinelli about Nurse Jackie is simply delicious 🙂 Whether he’s the wise, supportive, vampire doctor in Twilight or the sexual Tourette’s suffering Dr. Cooper on Nurse Jackie, we love him. So here’s a small interview I saw over at E!Online and thought that you all just had to read it too, and if you haven’t seen Nurse Jackie yet, what are you waiting for?!? Also, don’t forget, New Moon, debuts November 20th, 2009 ! [Note from Jenny: I just heard the Hallelujah Chorus when I read that. Thank you, God! November 20th can’t come soon enough!!]
