TV News – 8/13/09

What a day it was! I spent the day with my sister, my niece and my daughter, playing tourists today and going to some of the local attractions. It was a blast, but I am exhausted. So let’s get this news done and then I hear a pillow calling my name 🙂

The hilarious Lewis Black is set to guest star on The Big Bang Theory in the second episode of this coming season. Black takes on the role of Professor Crawley, an entomologist who’s life isn’t the best right now. He has to deal with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) trying to get him to settle a bet about a cricket, on top of everything. This sounds like it’s going to be a very funny episode, and I really enjoy Black’s comedy, so it’s definitely worth the watch! Source

More after the jump

Ausiello is dishing on some hot shows, including True Blood, Bones and Smallville, so if you are need of a spoiler dose, click the link! If you don’t want to be spoiled then don’t click 🙂 I loved the spoilers and I want you to love them to 🙂 What are you waiting for? Go get Spoiled!

Scott Foley (The Unit, Felicity ) is going to be doing a guest appearance on Law & Order :SVU, this season. His character will be a real estate agent that gets tangled up in a murder investigation in episode 4. Foley was excited to say that least, and who wouldn’t be, “…it’s SVU, come on!” I loved Foley on Felicity and I think he’ll be great on SVU, good casting choice! Source

Brothers and Sisters will be getting a Eureka moment when Joe Morton (Eureka), heads over to Justin’s med school to be his kind but firm anatomy professor. This role will have Morton recurring in about 7 to 10 episodes. I like this, Morton will pull off the tough but concerned professor well, and I love Brothers and Sisters so I’m excited in general 🙂 Source

Well, that’s it for today, but check back tomorrow for more news, and watch for my weekly review this weekend 🙂 Have a good night and remember when you wake up tomorrow will be FRIDAY 😀
