Hello everyone, sorry I’m running behind on the news today, I’ve been packing and preparing for my big move like crazy so my days are pretty full! I did of course stop to watch Hell’s Kitchen and Big Brother, so check back tomorrow when I review Hell’s Kitchen and later this week when I discuss the crazy Big Brother house. Okay, let’s get to some news shall we?
The awesome, yet slightly work-aholic Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), has signed on to be a guest judge during auditions in Dallas for American Idol. Harris makes for eight people who are going to help fill in the void left by Paula Abdul (of course not all 8 at the same time lol) but he’s the first guest judge to have no direct links to the music business. He did however perform on Broadway, and on Joss Whedon’s fantastic online adventure,Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. I like this casting a lot and think that Harris will be awesome in the role, what do you think? Source

Our beloved, suave Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) from Gossip Girl going gay?? Well, for one episode at least, Chuck will be smooching the head of NYU’s freshman affairs, Josh Ellis (Neal Bledsoe) on the request of none other than Queen ‘B’ Blair. Does it surprise me? Umm, no! Blair using Chuck to get what she wants or needs sounds right on track for those two schemers. Also don’t forget that in the Gossip Girl books by Cecily von Zigesar, Chuck is actually bi-sexual. What are your opinions on this story line? Source
Some casting news for the new CW show, The Beautiful Life. Ed Quinn, who recently played the overly testosterone filled Dallas vampire Stan from True Blood, is going to be playing Elle Macpherson’s husband on The Beautiful Life. I really enjoyed Quinn on True Blood and although I’m still not overly excited for TBL to premiere, I’m excited for any more glances we get at the adorable Ed Quinn the better. Source
So excited for Grey’s Anatomy’s sixth season, aren’t you? I found this promo clip for season six and thought you all might want to see it as well. We may already know that T.R. Knight, who plays George isn’t returning and that Izzie (Katherine Heigl) is, but the two-hour season premiere on September 24th is going to be a tear jerker for sure! Check out the clip below.
Finally, here’s a link to a spoiler chat over at E!Online, with some dirt on Grey’s Anatomy, Chuck and Gossip Girl. As always, don’t click the link if you don’t want to be spoiled!
That’s it for tonight. Check back tomorrow for more news and my Hell’s Kitchen review.
