TV News – 10/7/09

Wednesday is quickly becoming one of my favourite nights of television, with Glee and Criminal Minds it makes for a great night. I’m going to try to get the Hell’s Kitchen review up soon if not late tonight. Okay, now for some news 🙂

HBO has decided to renew the comedy series Bored to Death for a second season after no one died of boredom ( corny but couldn’t help myself) :). The comedy series has been pulling a steady audience and is quite amusing, it’s second season is expected to begin production sometime in 2010. With talent like Ted Danson (Cheers) and Jason Schwartzman(Cracking Up) the show is hilarious, I like it and I’m glad it’s coming back again. Source

More after the jump.

I usually try to avoid the Jon & Kate drama, but this is funny. Law & Order is definitely taking things tongue in cheek, when a new episode of the crime drama entitled Reality Bites, features a single dad caring for 10 children who ends up on a reality show titled,Larry Plus 10 😀 The dad, Larry, is suspected of murdering his wife and he has a girlfriend that is his babysitter, that he had an affair with. What’s even more amusing is the fact that a woman with 10 children of her own by in-vitro is also in this episode. Can we say “Octomom”? Some may say this is harsh but I think it’s funny. Leave it to Law & Order to really take their stories from the news headlines, but remember the characters you see are fictional 😉 The episode airs Friday, October 16th at 8 pm on NBC, will you be watching? I’m short on time tonight, so one more before I go 🙂

Here’s a link to a spoiler chat with Ausiello. It’s really informative on shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, Supernatural and much more. It’s kind of fan-freaking-tastic! However, (my usual warning) do not click the link if you don’t want to be SPOILED. Everyone else click HERE 🙂

That’s it for tonight, I hope you all enjoyed the news, check back tonight or tomorrow morning for my Hell’s Kitchen review.
