TV News – 5/3/10

Hello, Hello! I am running late today, because it really is a manic monday. So let’s get straight to the news.

FX has renewed Justified for a second season of 13 episodes, before season 1 is even over. This is a great move. Justified is a fabulous show, and definitely worth it. If you haven’t watched it you don’t know what you’re missing. Timothy Olyphant and Joelle Carter are excellent in it and do a great job of delivering the cheeky dialogue while keeping us intrigued by the story. If you haven’t yet, catch all new episodes on Tuesdays at 10 pm on FX. You won’t be disappointed. Source

More after the jump

It’s been reported that Brothers & Sisters is going to be doing a time jump next season. Ausiello has an interview with the executive producer David Marshall Grant, and they discuss the benefits and the down side of it. It might be slightly spoilerish but worth a read. Check it out here.

NBC has picked up the new series, Undercovers, for next season. Undercovers is from J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias) and is a spy drama that follows a married couple who are retired spies that get pulled back into the world when an old friend goes missing. It looks promising and may actually be a smart move by NBC.. go figure 😉 . Source

Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars) will be leaving Private Practice after this season. His character, Dell, has been absent a lot this season, and will be gone in season 4. I’m a little disappointed because I really love Lowell, but the character hasn’t been adding anything to the show for me for a long time. Farewell and I wish him well. Source

That’s all I’ve got for today. Don’t miss all new episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You at 8 pm on ABC Family and Nurse Jackie at 10 pm on Showtime. Happy Monday! 😀
