TV News – 5/6/10

Bones tonight, and let me tell you that you DO NOT want to miss it! I’ve seen the episode last night (It airs Wednesdays in Canada), and it was really good, lots of great relationship stuff. Let’s get to the news.

Calling all Moonlight fans! The CW is going to be airing the series from the beginning starting on June 3rd, and I’m excited! This was a great show, that was cancelled far before it’s time, and I am looking forward to watching it all over again. Moonlight will air after repeats of The Vampire Diaries at 9 pm. Enjoy! Source

More after the jump.

Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) said in a recent interview that she probably wouldn’t renew her contract in 2012, because “…I’ve told a lot of Meredith Grey stories. I think the world has had a lot of Meredith Grey.” I can see that, and that will be the show’s 8th season, but if she did leave could there be a Grey’s Anatomy without Meredith? I think there could, even though I really like her. What do you think? Source

Desperate Housewives is bringing back an old villain to menace society next season. Paul, played by Mark Moses will be back next season to shake things up on the lane. I wonder where they’re going with this, I guess we have to wait until Fall to find out. One things for sure, if Paul is involved it’s probably Trouble! Source

Britney Spear’s manager is hoping to have Glee make an all Britney episode like the Madonna one, but Matthew Morrison who plays Will Schuester the director of the Glee club isn’t biting. When asked recently he said, “I hope our show doesn’t go along that route”. I think that what Morrison meant was that while Britney songs will amuse us, there isn’t a need for a whole Britney themed episode, just a few songs and maybe a cameo? Although if they were to do a whole episode centered on the pop princess (and I use that term loosely) we could see what Rachel looked like bald, or perhaps they could all get drunk and flash us a panty-less shot of themselves… I’m just saying 😉 Overall, I think the music of Spears would entertain and could work with the show, but a whole episode dedicated would be over kill unless it suited the story.Source

James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) is in talks with HBO about a new comedy series remake of the French-Canadian show, Taxi 0-22. Gandolfini’s company Attaboy Films is working on it and Gandolfini is thnking about starring. The pilot is being written at the moment and if it goes through this would be the first time Gandolfini was back on TV since The . I enjoy him so I hope this happens.Source Source

Some news on the Glee tour for you, LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers is going to be opening for the group on tour, but what’s extra special about this is that Harry Shum Jr. who plays Mike Chang (commonly referred to as “the Other Asian”) is a member of the dance group. We all know that Shum is an amazing dancer, and LXD are all fantastic, so this is going to make the Glee tour even more exciting and fabulous! Are you excited? Source

Walton Goggins has been bumped up to a series regular on Justified. Goggins plays the charming yet devious criminal Boyd, and I love that character. This is really good news for the series and the viewers. Source

Finally, let’s discuss the results from last night’s American Idol. So Aaron Kelly, got eliminated and frankly I’m not really upset but I do think it should have been Casey. Aaron wasn’t the worst performance this week but he’s not the winner and we’ve known that for awhile. If American agrees, it should come down to Crystal and Lee. I just hope that it’s not Mike in the finals, I still do not like him at all. Watch the top 4 next Tuesday at 8 pm on FOX.

That’s all for today, I hope you all have a great night and enjoy a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy at 9 pm on ABC.
