Happy Victoria Day to all my Canadian readers, it’s a beautiful day here today and I hope you’re enjoying your holiday weekend as well. Let’s get straight to the news.
As if Drop Dead Diva needed to give us any more reasons to watch, but they have. Natasha Henstridge (Eli Stone), is going to be doing a guest appearance at the end of the upcoming season 2, that’s includes at least 2 episodes. I loved Henstridge on Eli Stone and I’m looking forward to her guest appearance. The dramedy returns for it’s second season on June 6th on Lifetime, and if you haven’t been watching you need to, because you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Source
More after the jump
Paula Abdul has been named Executive Producer, creative partner, mentor and head judge on the new CBS reality competition show, Got to Dance. The show is based on a hit British show that was released earlier this year and was a huge success. It’ll allow all types of dancers to audition, and it’s not just solo, you can be a group too. The best go on to audition for the judges, then compete live in the semi -finals and finals. It sounds a bit like So You Think You Can Dance crossed with America’s Best Dance Crew but I’m sure it’ll be a hit. People will watch if for no other reason than we love to see the bad auditions as much as we love the good ones. 😉 Source
In some outstanding news, Glee has already been picked up for season three, before even finishing it’s first season! FOX knows a hit when it’s got it, and Glee is an amazing hit. It’s pure genius and I’m estatic about this news aren’t you? Source
Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) has been named to host the 64th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 13th. He’s also nominated for his leading role in the Broadway sensation, Promises, Promises. I love Hayes, he’s always fantastic to watch and I’m looking forward to seeing him host. I think he’ll both amuse and dazzle as the host, don’t you?Source
