TV News – 6/1/10

I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. There hasn’t been much news, but what there is I’m bringing to you now.

Diane Farr (Numb3rs, Rescue Me) is going to be guest starring on White Collar for at least one episode. She’ll play “Gina De Stefano, a waitress Mozzie (Willie Garson) has a crush on. She drops a hint early in the episode that she’s in trouble and needs his help.” I loved Farr in Numb3rs and she was fabulous in Desperate Housewives as the mom to Eddie (the Fairview Strangler). I’m excited for this, I love White Collar and Farr added to it’ll be even better. Source

More after the jump

With Shawn Ryan leaving his job as show runner for Lie to Me a replacement is needed. Well it’s been found. Alexander Cary is going to take over for Ryan. Cary has been writing for the show since last season, and the star of the show, Tim Roth, is confident that he’ll be able to run the show because he’s a “very, very good writer”. I hope for the show’s sake that Cary can turn things around. Lie to Me squeaked out a renewal for a third season by the skin of it’s teeth, so it needs to have a wicked season. All that aside the show returns on June 7th to air the rest of the second season, so tune in if you want to keep it on air. Source

ABC is holding the remaining new episodes of Wife Swap and Primetime: What Would You Do? until later this summer if not next season. At the moment there is no reason given as to why, just that it’s being done. So if you’re looking for new episodes of these shows you’re going to have to wait for awhile. Source

That’s all I have for you on today, but check back later for reviews of last week’s Glee, and tune in tonight for all new episodes of Hell’s Kitchen at 8 pm on FOX, and Glee at 9 pm also on FOX. It’s going to be a great night.
