TV News – 6/2/10

Happy hump day everyone! 😉 After Glee last night I feel dirty saying that. lol. News is still at a trickle but I have a few interesting tidbits for you to enjoy, so let’s get to it!

Jason Priestly (90210) is joining the cast of Scoundrels for a multiple episode story line. He’ll be playing a “TV personality that is smitten with Leven Rambin’s (Grey’s Anatomy) aspiring-actress character, Heather.” The new drama will premiere on June 20th on ABC, and is about a family of crooks. It actually looks slightly intriguing but not nearly as addictive as the other new series The Gates which also premieres on June 20th on ABC.Source

More after the jump

Liz Vassey, will be missing from CSI when it returns in the fall. Vassey (who plays Wendy), has been on the show for a while but her contract just wasn’t picked up. It’s actually a shame because I felt like this character could have gone far given the right story line. I hope Vassey ends up in something else soon and who knows people always seem to pop back up on CSI. Source

I adore True Blood, and I cannot wait for it to return on June 13th. It seems like eons away right now, but to get you through the waiting here is an incredibly sexy, juicy and bloody fangtastic clip. I hope you enjoy this clip as much as I did, but warning some things may appear slightly spoilerish, but so worth it. Trust me, I know these things. 😉 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt3VeLsukGU&feature=player_embedded

Jason Patric (My Sister’s Keeper) has signed on to co-star on the new HBO series, Tilda, which also stars Diane Keaton. Tilda is about a female online Hollywood journalist, and Patric will be playing her enemy, Andrew Brown. I think he’ll be a great addition to the series and I’m really looking forward to it. Source

That’s all for now, but don’t miss an all new episode of So You Think You Can Dance tonight starting at 8 pm on FOX.
