Sunday

Sunday is the season finale of Kendra on E! at 10/9c.

Tonight is also the series premiere of 2 shows. First up is the premiere of Top Shot on the History Channel at 10/9c. The network’s first competition show pits skilled marksmen against one other in team and elimination challenges inspired by real events in history – from Wild West shootouts to modern-day sniper missions. One contestant will emerge with a $100,000 prize package and the title of “Top Shot.” It’s hosted by Survivor‘s own Colby Donaldson.

The second series premiere is The Hard Times of RJ Berger on MTV at 11/10c. A half-hour, single camera, scripted, coming-of-age comedy that follows the awkward life of RJ Berger, a late-blooming loser with an anatomical gift, the show provides a glimpse into classic teenage milestones. The first season will consist of 12 episodes. Every episode begins and ends with a “My name is RJ Berger” thought from RJ – a measure of what he’s learned that week. Each episode of the series will also incorporate a stylized animation sequence, identifying the show with pop culture and video games. The show stars Amber Lancaster, Jareb Dauplaise, Jayson Blair, Kara Taitz & Paul Iacono.

Tonight is also the season premiere of 3 shows: Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime, Ice Road Truckers on the History Channel, and the 2-hour premiere of The Next Food Network Star on Food Network, all at 9/8c.

There are also 3 specials tonight. At 7/6c, it’s The Making of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on NBC. Then at 8/7c, it’s the 1-hour pre-show, followed by the 2-hour 2010 MTV Movie Awards on MTV. Finally, there are 2 1-hour specials for the new Kate Plus 8 on TLC at 9/8c & 10/9c.

Meet military trained Dave Canterbury and naturalist Cody Lundin — trained survival experts who have very different methods of meeting survival challenges. Together, with their drastically different backgrounds, the pair are dropped into scenarios that could happen to anyone: marooned sailors, lost hikers, trapped divers and stranded mountain climbers. Equipped with minimal gear that would have been carried in the real-life situations, Cody and Dave must draw upon their arsenal of skills to devise extraordinary ways to use what they can find in their surroundings to demonstrate what it takes to stay alive.
