If We Controlled Your Remote… 6/23/10

Jenny’s Choice

My choice for tonight was an easy one. Since premiering on USA in the summer of 2008, Marshall Mann and Mary Shannon captured my interest and then my heart on In Plain Sight. He’s a softie with a heart of gold, but if he won’t hesitate to protect you with his life if he needs to. And when you matter something to him, like Mary does, he will become a lion when necessary. Mary is sharp-tongued, sharp-witted, and has a tough outer shell, but she’ll go to bat for you in a heartbeat if you’re her family or friends, or if you are a witness in her charge. Together, they make an unstoppable duo in the Witness Protection Program.

In tonight’s episode, Mary keeps an eye on a teen witness whose separated parents are too distracted by their own issues to pay attention to their daughter. Marshall thinks a witness may have betrayed his brother; and Brandi tends to Scott after he’s attacked. There are some great guest stars tonight, and after tonight, there is only 1 episode left in the season! Don’t miss it on USA at 10/9c.

Megan’s Choice

I was going to choose In Plain Sight as well but since Jenny chose it and gave it such a glowing review I’m out of words to talk about it, I’m going to choose So You Think You Can Dance instead. 😀 Tonight the ten finalists compete alongside the all-stars in mulitiple styles of dance, trying to win your votes. I’m really loving the season so far and I adore Lauren, Kent and Jose.

Last week all the dancers impressed, but I found it difficult sometimes to focus on the contestant and not the all-star. Did you have this issue? I’m hoping that this week the all-stars will appear as props and not as competition for our contestants. I still have to wonder if the format of this season was the best idea, I guess time will tell. Tune in tonight to FOX at 8 pm.
