Why don’t children ever go to bed when you need them to? 🙁 I’ve been attempting to get my daughter’s bed time schedule down in time for school in September. Let’s just say it’s not going well. 😉 Enough about my parenting woes, let’s talk TV news.
Chris Vance (Mental, Prison Break), has signed on to guest star on Dexter for multiple episodes. Vance will play “Cole, a meticulous, physically fit, well-spoken personal aide to a famous businessman.”. The guest stint will last for around three episodes, while he also appears on Burn Notice as the thorn in Jeffrey Donovan’s side. I’m sure there will be more to his appearance on Dexter, and I for one am excited to see where it goes. When he was on Mental , I enjoyed him immensely. Will you watch Vance on Dexter? Source
More after the jump.
Michael Ealy(FlashForward) is becoming a busy boy. First he’s signed on to guest star on The Good Wife in at least 10 episodes. Now Ealy has been cast in the new USA Network police dramedy, Common Law, as the co-lead. Ealy will be playing LAPD officer Travis Marks, the opposite of his partner Wes Mitchell. Travis is a fly by the seat of his pants sort of guy, and Mitchell is a straight laced by the rules guy. It seems he’ll be able to both for now because Common Law is just in production mode. Source
TBS has ordered another 90 episodes of Are We There Yet?, and I have to say I’m surprised. I didn’t expect it to be such a success but it has been. The sitcom has been bringing in fair size audiences for the network, so it’s no wonder they’re ready to order more episodes. If you’re a fan you’ll be happy to hear about this order, if you’re not a fan (or don’t watch) at least you can understand that they’re just backing a success for their network… right? Source
I’m sure you’ve all read news about which character is going to be gay this coming season on 90210 right? Well, if you haven’t and don’t want to know stop reading now. ***SPOILERS AHEAD*** Okay, everyone who doesn’t want to read gone? Last chance.. ready set … Trevor Donovan, who plays Teddy Montgomery. It was first confirmed by the fabulous Jethro Nededog over at Zap2It, then Donovan himself tweeted about it. “I read all your tweets and know you are all curious about the ‘gay’ character this season. Let me say, gay or straight, relationships are relationships. Everyone goes through the same kind of troubles and joys. A gay storyline will have an added issue of deling with judgment from others. Acceptance, by family, friends, society and self is just one of the concerns the character will be going through. It is a part of life, and it should be portrayed. I was told, and am confident the storyline will be written very well and the change in the character will be organic, NOT overnight. It’s going to be a great season 3. I look forward to chatting with you all as we progress.” I will admit to being mildly curious to see how they deal with this story after the huge mess they made of the Adrianna’s (Jessica Lowndes) lesbian stint. While the network has declined to comment we’re all pretty sure of our sources. Now your thoughts?
That’s all for tonight, I’ll be back tomorrow with more news.
