TV News – 8/25/10

What a long week, but today is the middle so hopefully it’s only going up from here! *Fingers Crossed* 😀 Let’s take a look at some TV news.

In the category of ‘best news for awhile’, James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel) is coming back to our televisions! That sound you hear is me squealing like a school girl as I remember falling in love with Marsters as Spike on Buffy. He was amazing in the musical episode, Once More With Feeling, and I am in total fan girl mode. 😀 Back to the TV part! He’s going to be in the new show on Syfy, Three Inches. He’ll play Troy, the head of a group of superheroes. If the recent additions to Syfy’s programming such as Haven or Warehouse 13 have proven anything, it’s that Syfy is moving up in the world of original programming. I for one, am super stoked aren’t you?Source

More after the jump.

This news isn’t TV news per say, but it does involve a couple of my favorite actresses from TV. Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes) and Anna Paquin (True Blood), have both signed on to join the cast of Scream 4. This is a mixed excitement for me, because on one hand it’s K Bell and I love her! On the other hand it’s Scream 4 so it’s probably going to be a train wreck. *sigh* The good news is the cast is star studded with Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, and Hayden Panettiere. The bad news is that there is little hope most of our favorites (ie. Bell, and Paquin) will live past the first few scenes. Question is… will you be watching?Source

Finally for tonight, some more spoilers coming your way from Ausiello. There are some juicy details on Glee, Gossip Girl , Burn Notice and more. If you don’t like spoilers, goodnight, everyone else click away. Beware SPOILERS AHEAD!

That’s all for tonight check back tomorrow when I post my first interview from the Psych set visit, with a few photos! Thanks for reading and sleep tight.

I’m so excited about Marsters! Even though there won’t be better character for him than Spike (this vampire is just… aaah, you know, right? 😀 ), but it’s always great to see our favourites back on tv.
The fourth Scream has a pretty decent cast so far… I think that this hour and half won’t kill us 😀
