It has been a busy weekend, with lots of crazy family things going on. I have to admit while I’m overjoyed to be pregnant, this exhaustion and nausea is driving me a bit bonkers. 😉 Let’s take a look at some TV news.
Darren Criss (Eastwick, A Very Potter Musical), is joining the cast of Glee in the much anticipated role of “Blaine, a cute and charismatic gay student from a rival Glee club” . This character may or may not end up being Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) boyfriend but the writers are just keeping everything under wraps and leaving their options over. I’m excited about this casting, Criss is adorable. I hope that he ends up being Kurt’s boyfriend because they’d make a cute couple. Check out his audition video after the jump.Source
More after the jump.
Brad Womack has officially been named the new bachelor, and will be The Bachelor and get a better chance for love. Womack has a twin brother and you know in reality there’s always a twist so tune in for the the new season in January 2011. He messed up last time will he do it again? Source
With the sad news of Andy Whitfield’s cancer relapse, the future of Spartacus: Blood and Sand is up in the air. The executive producer Steven S. DeKnight says that one of two things will likely happen: a new actor will be brought in to replace Whitfield or the series will end.” There are fans every where who are crying at the thought of losing one of their favorite shows but even more sad for Whitfield’s news. We don’t know what the fate of the series is, but we’ll know soon and I’ll be sure to pass the word along. So are you sad at the possibility that the show will be cancelled? Sound off below.Source
Hilary Duff (Cheaper by the Dozen, A Cinderella Story), is going to be guest starring on Community. She’ll be playing a “mean girl, who’s part of a clique that goes head-to-head with Greendale’s loveable gang.” This is one of NBC’s best comedies and so far it’s been hitting home runs, let’s hope that Duff adds to that and doesn’t cause an opposite effect. 😉Source
