If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/6/10

Happy hump day! 😉 We love Wednesdays around here, and why shouldn’t we? Criminal Minds has been so intense lately and there are always lots of laughs on Wednesday nights with The Middle or Modern Family. Why don’t we see what this trio of fabulous women have to suggest shall we?

Megan’s Choice

Tonight I’m going to go with Law & Order: SVU because one of my favorite actresses from ER, Gloria Reuben, is guest starring. Law & Order: SVU has always been one of my favorite Law & Orders because no matter how disturbing the cases are at times they do a great job of showing the range of emotions of all involved.

Jump ahead to read more and to see the other ladies’ choices.

On tonight’s episode a 15-year-old girl is hit by a car and killed, and the detectives are shocked when Dr. Melinda Warner (Tamara Tunie) rules it a homicide. Some think it’s a case for the FBI, the cops instead reach out to Assistant U.S. Attorney and friend Christine Danielson (guest star Gloria Reuben), who has moved up in the world since the detectives last saw her. Meanwhile, Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) is frustrated by his crumbling precinct.

Tune in tonight at 9/8c on NBC to see this great episode unfold.

Lisa’s Choice

Aw heck, for fans of The Middle, you love the Heck family just as much as I do! Life in the middle of Indiana is never ordinary for this unique family! Tonight, a store clerk has the audacity to make an assumption which leaves Frankie devastated and humiliated. Sue finds herself head over heels for one of Axl’s friends, and Brick decides he’s going to test out urban legends. Get your laugh on tonight on ABC at 8/7c!

Jenny’s Choice

As always, my recommendation has to be Criminal Minds. I know, it’s not original. But you know what? I’m ok with that. LOL I can’t help it. I adore the show and I look forward to Wednesday every week simply because of it.

On tonight’s episode, when several women are found murdered in a similar fashion, Rossi recalls a cold case that has haunted him for 25 years, causing him to suspect the original killer to be at work again.

Rossi-centric episodes are always interesting for me, so I’m excited about this one. The previews look fantastic, as it looks like the old man in the picture to the left is the UNSUB. Killers who are old = creepy. lol Anyway, don’t miss the new episode of Criminal Minds tonight on CBS at 9/8c!

  1. Scott Rarden says:

Do NOT get Jenny started on Criminal Minds. It’s like playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with more blood and psychopaths involved. So, just to complete the circle, it’s from Shemar Moore to Joe Mantegna to Kevin Bacon (Joe and Kevin both were in a movie called Queen’s Logic).
