Last week we had a reader comment and ask where the love for the original NCIS is, well here it is! I have always enjoyed the original, and I love Abby (Pauley Perette). Abby is one of my favorite female characters on television right now, and week after week she never fails to amuse. I got to see her at Comic Con, and let me tell you, she is even more fabulous in person, a true gem.
On tonight’s episode, a naval officer and the shock jock who is interviewing him are both shot to death during a live show. We know the team will solve the crime one way or another, but what’s guaranteed is that they’ll amuse us the whole time. Tune in to CBS at 8/7 c and see if they can close the case.

ABC Family recently picked up Melissa & Joey for a full 30 episodes for their first season. I was thrilled, because this little comedy is an absolute gem. Sure, it’s no Modern Family (my fave comedy on TV right now), but it’s makes me smile and laugh a lot every episode. It’s a huge throwback to the family sitcoms of the 90s, like Full House, Family Matters, Blossom & Sabrina the Teenage Witch. There is almost nothing in this show I would be uncomfortable with my son watching, although at 12, he’s a little young in my opinion for some of the sexual comments & situations. Most would still go over his head, but still. Those are few and far between, and another 2 years, I wouldn’t have any issues. If he was flipping through the channels and landed on ABC Family while this was on, I wouldn’t be worried. It’s a nice change. Especially considering some of the shows he watches on what are supposed to be KIDS channels nowadays! Anyway, I can’t praise it enough for just being a cute, simple, family comedy.
On tonight’s episode, Melissa expresses growing concerns over a series of strange noises coming from the attic, and her investigations point to a hiding family member that she pleads with in hopes of convincing them to turn themselves in to authorities. Don’t miss tonight’s episode, (which looks to be their Halloween-themed ep!), on ABC Family at 8/7c. Also, if you’re on twitter, Joey Lawrence tweets and he’s fantastic! Be sure and say hello, and let him know we sent you! @joeylawrence.
One of the most underrated new shows of the season isn’t getting much attention. This is a funny show with a unique premise and great chemistry between its two stars, Will Arnett and Keri Russell. Running Wilde has charm, charisma, and a lot of slapstick plus laughs. Tonight’s episode has Steve throwing an environmentally friendly shindig in order to show Emmy that he can be less extravagent. Go Wilde tonight at 9:30/8:30c!
