If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/25/10

I’m so excited it’s Monday! You don’t hear that often, I know, but really, Monday is one of my favorite nights of TV, so I’m thrilled. As always, let us know what you’re watching tonight!

This season of Chuck has been really strong and fantastic so far. Morgan has a much bigger role, since he is involved more and more with the spy stuff, and he couldn’t be more adorable doing it. Last week’s episode, with him in camo and sweeping around with a gun at the ready behind Casey was brilliant. I love that a show actually put the lead characters together, and while we see the romantic relationship between Sarah and Chuck come out each episode, it hasn’t taken over. I’d like to see him flash more, but there is still plenty of time left in the season!

Jump with us to read more about tonight’s new episode of Chuck, and to see what Megan, Lisa, and our guest blogger, Adam, have to say.

When Chuck, Sarah, Casey, and Morgan are tasked to stop Dr. Stanley Wheelright (guest star Robert Englund, the original Freddy Krueger!) from releasing a nightmare-inducing toxin, they’re also lead to question the allegiances of Chuck’s mom (guest star Linda Hamilton). Meanwhile, Jeff and Lester use their unique sensibilities to celebrate Halloween at the Buy More, and Ellie and Awesome get a visit from Dr. Honey Woodcomb (guest star Morgan Fairchild). Don’t miss it tonight on NBC at 8/7c. Chuck @ Clicker

Monday nights are all about 24! Uh…I’m sorry, I mean The Event. Excuse my slip of the tongue, but in my defense, they are looking more and more similar after each episode. Look, I was a huge 24 fan. However, I do not want The Event to fall into their same footsteps. That also means I don’t want The Event to go all LOST on me, or V to that effect.

However, as much as I’m bashing it right now, it still has me hooked. Despite its similarities, this continues to be one of the most intriguing shows on TV right now. Sure, last week didn’t end in a cliffhanger, but if you saw the promos for this week, you’ll know something BIG is happening. No word yet if that is the event… On tonight’s episode, the President and the Director of National Intelligence fulfill their agreement, but the plan’s failure makes them think there is a mole; Sean digs for answers and finds a conspiracy theorist; Simon’s past is illuminated and allegiances are tested. The new episode airs on NBC at 9/8c. The Event @ Clicker

It’s Monday night date night! That is my date with Alex O’Loughlin and Hawaii Five-0. 😉 I know that there are some *cough* Adam *cough*, who don’t think that O’Loughlin is as fabulous as I do, and while you’re all entitled to your opinions … you’re wrong. 😀 If you haven’t given the new Hawaii Five-0 a chance you are depriving yourself of fantastic television.

Tonight’s episode is focused more on Kono (Grace Park) and her past. The CEO of a major surf company is murdered, and the case is personal for Kono because the victim was her mentor when she surfed professionally. The investigationtakes Five-0 into the interconnected worlds of North Shore surfing. Tune into CBS at 10/9 c and enjoy some yummy actors and intriguing story arcs. You’ll be happy you do. With the recent boom in celebrity births, it’s a cinch that How I Met Your Mother would get in on the action, especially now that show star Neil Patrick Harris has two of his own! Tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother revolves around Marshall and Lily trying to figure out how to conceive a baby with the gender of their choice, while Robin can’t stand her extra perky new co-anchor (played by Laura Bell Bundy). Catch it all on CBS tonight at 8/7c. How I Met Your Mother @ Clicker
