If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/16/10

I have really enjoyed having Mark (aka @theanticritic), with us this week. It’s always nice to have another person addicted to television join us. I know that I personally need television almost as much as I need oxygen to breathe… and I’m not that embarassed about it either. 😉 Let’s see what this group of television addicts think you should be watching!

What is better than Glee? Glee plus Gwynth Paltrow plus the Glee members and kids. It looks like it’s going to be fabulous!

On tonight’s episode, Gwyneth Paltrow fills in for Mr Schuester, and she wins the trust of the group. Meanwhile, Sue fills in for Principal Figgins and flexes her muscles.

Tune into FOX at 8/7c and watch the wonderful, joyful show that is Glee. Learn where to find episodes online of Glee @ Clicker.

If you remember, my TV tastes are sporadic at best, and some people might label it a bit schizophrenic to an extent. Tonight’s pick is no different in my opinion.

Stargate Universe is my pick tonight, because it’s one of the best space dramas on TV at the moment. Having had the luxury to see tonight’s episode in advance, I can say that tonight’s episode will satisfy fans after the cliffhanger ending of last week’s installment. The game/mission for the make-shift crew of the Destiny was changed drastically, but will the crew accept taking that on instead of trying to go home? Plus, Robert Knepper let his bad guy loose on the ship last week and will wreck havoc on those who will attempt to stop him. Fans of SGU will be shocked by the events tonight, as they rightfully should be. I sure as heck was…

Stargate Universe airs tonight on SyFy @ 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Stargate Universe @ Clicker.

Normally, I pick NCIS: LA over the original, but tonight, NCIS itself is my recommendation. Why? Storyline, baby. I love the cast, I really do, but tonight’s story should be fantastic.

On tonight’s episode, Ziva must confront her past when her estranged father makes a visit to D.C. The team is assigned to protect him when his attendance at a NCIS conference leads to some unexpected surprises. Michael Nouri (Damages, The O.C.) reprises his role as Ziva’s Father, Mossad Director Eli David. Arnold Vosloo (24, The Mummy) reprises his role as Mossad Officer Amit Hadar. T.J. Ramini (24) reprises his role as Mossad Officer Malachi Ben-Gidon. Michael O’Neill (The West Wing, Grey’s Anatomy) guest stars as former NCIS Special Agent Riley McCallister. Catherine Dent (The Shield) guest stars as former NCIS Special Agent Whitney Sharp.

Raise the roof with an all new episode of Raising Hope tonight. This charming show is too funny and endearing for you to not be watching.

On tonight’s episode, Hope starts imitating dogs at her day care, so Jimmy decides it is time to enroll her in one that’s high-end. Unfortunately, there is a blemish on Burt’s record, and that must get erased before Hope can ever be accepted at all.
