TV News – 11/17/10

I know I haven’t been as regular with my news posts these days but there are multiple reasons for that. First the news has been slow, but second between moving, being pregnant and just keeping up with my day to day daily chores I am one tired woman! πŸ™‚ I will do my best to be more regular, as my readers are as important as my family. Okay, enough mushy stuff (before my hormones kick in and I cry for the fifth time today πŸ˜‰ ) , let’s take a look at the news.

Rachael Leigh Cook has been cast as the female lead in the pilot for TNT, Perception. The pilot is centered on Dr. Geoffrey Pierce (Played by Erick McCormack (Will & Grace), who is a super intelligent but slightly off kilter university professor in neuropsychiatry who assists the FBI with difficult cases. The adorable Cook will be playing a savvy, and attractive FBI agent, Kate Rossi, who had Pierce as a professor in university. I’m so excited for this new pilot for many reasons, the most important one now being Cook herself. I really enjoyed her in a lot of ‘teen’ movies when I was younger, and think she is long overdue for a great series of her own. What are your thoughts? Source

More after the jump.

Some fantastic Glee news for you tonight about the talented Harry Shum Jr. This fabulous and sexy dancer, has been promoted to a series regular starting next season. I am loving this news, not only because his dancing is enthralling to watch but because he adds some tension to the Artie/Tina story line. Congrats to Harry Shum Jr. on this awesome promotion. Tim Guinee (Lie to Me) will be joining the cast of The Good Wife in a possibly recurring role as a private eye. His character, Wiley, will be spying on Matt Czuchry’s character, Cary, and he may bring a few things to light. Check out his debut in 2011. Source

That’s all for tonight. Sweet dreams!
