TV News – 11/30/10

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, well all of those who celebrated πŸ™‚ I already had my Thanksgiving in October being Canadian and all πŸ˜‰ . Now it’s time to start gearing up for the holiday season, I have a lot of shopping left to do, but first this week it’s time to put the tree up. I suppose that’s about the required amount of rambling for the evening let’s look at some news.

Doug Hutchison (Lost), will be guest starring on Lie to Me, as police detective, Lane Bradley, who’s baby girl is kidnapped. Bradley is “already controlling of his wife and their teenage son, he holds his better half responsible for the tragedy.” It’s not always that simple, and it’s possible that Bradley is hiding something which Cal and company get to the bottom of. Look for Hutchison’s appearance later this season. Source

More after the jump.

Dan Aykroyd is going to be guest starring on The Defenders in early 2011. Aykroyd was in the original Blues Brothers with Jim Belushi’s late brother John. There’s no exact details of the role being released but when I hear something I’ll be sure to pass it on. Source

Kristoffer Polaha, who plays the well meaning but immature father of Lux on the CW network’s Life Unexpected, has signed a talent holding deal with CBS and CBS studios to head a new pilot for next fall. Poloha was offered the deal after CW decided not to order more episodes of Life Unexpected, and they realized how talented he was and didn’t want to lose him. It would appear that the series will officially end in January, unless the ratings perform a Christmas miracle and the show is renewed. I really enjoy Life Unexpected, and Polaha, is one of my favorites so I’m torn. Sad that the show is ending but happy he has some thing to fall back on. Source

That’s all for tonight folks sweet dreams.
