If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/31/11

Woah, did everyone see Casey last night on American Idol?! Bushy beard and hair are gone, leaving him trimmed but still Casey, and lookin good! He’s always been adorable, but now he’s kinda cute. 😉 Anyway, that’s enough about last night’s TV. Check out what we think you should be watching tonight!

Who doesn’t love a good “alien abduction” storyline? We’ve seen it on many of our favorite shows, and tonight, The Mentalist joins that group. Of course, some people might argue Patrick Jane has already been abducted by aliens… He’s just weird enough for me to consider that argument! Regardless, it should be a fun episode.

On tonight’s episode, Jane and the CBI team must hunt down the killer of a man who claims he has experienced an alien abduction, even after the victim’s body is stolen from the coroner’s van. Van Pelt takes a break from the case to shop for wedding dresses.

I gotta say, I’m not sure how I feel about Grace & her man… I liked her with Rigsby, and once I go shipper, it’s hard for me to go back. Her fiance seems too… perfect, I guess. I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Don’t miss it tonight on CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Mentalist @ Clicker.

A cataclysmic event leaves the doctors shaken; Callie, on the verge of a life-changing moment, starts imagining about the hospital and her friends. Tonight is a big episode for Grey’s Anatomy. With great elegance, creator/head writer Shonda Rhimes has used beloved songs from the show’s most poignant scenes in a series first to highlight and thread throughout the evening’s events.

During tonight’s episode, a tragic event rocks the lives of the doctors at Seattle Grace. Meanwhile, Callie (Broadway vet, Sara Ramirez) is on the verge of her own life altering moment with Arizona. It is through Callie’s eyes that viewers will enjoy watching friends and fellow doctors use songs (performed differently than the originals) like “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol and “How to Save a Life” by The Fray to narrate the emotional moments. You’ll surely want to skip a night out, or at least make sure your TIVO/DVR is set to record on this magic moment in television history.

The Big Bang Theory has really hit its stride this season! The new additions to this brood of dudes of Bernadette and Amy have been completely welcome. These ladies fit like a glove on the show, and from a buzz that’s going around, one of them may be taking up permanent residence on the show! See if you can guess which funny female may be ending the season with a big bang!

The boys are back! In an all new episode tonight, our favorite group of geeky guys try to figure who hacked Sheldon’s online-game account.

Watch CBS at 8/7c for a shot of Sheldon and his band of merry men! Learn where to find episodes online of The Big Bang Theory @ Clicker.

I will definitely be watching Grey’s Anatomy, and I have a feeling I’ll be needing a couple boxes of kleenex near by. If you’re not recovering from having a baby and being hormonal then I’m sure you’ll be okay with just one box of kleenex. 🙂

I thought the musical numbers were good and the cast can sing but the way it was woven into the story made me laugh instead of cry! This was a very emotional storyline and normally I would have gone through 3 boxes of tissues but the music just distracted me! Breaking into song in the OR while you friend and her baby are in danger? Really?
