Well, it’s the start of a fairly slow week of television. There are several premieres, but only a few are noteworthy, in my opinion. Still, we’ll be giving you our opinions on what we think you should watch each night. I’m home by myself at the moment, as my hubby & son are out of town with my husband’s parents at a family reunion, so the house is VERY quiet. Luckily, I’ve saved up a lot of TV from the end of the season to watch while they are gone, so I’ve got the TV on, filling the silence! As for tonight? Well, again, not much on, but we’ll give you what we’ve got!
One of my favorite people to watch on TV is Michael Symon. He’s so entertaining, so funny, and just damned nice. When I saw him compete on The Next Iron Chef, I fell in love with his sense of humor and began rooting for him immediately. When he won, I cheered. I’ve been lucky and have gotten to speak to him on the phone before, and have tweeted with him a few times. If you are on Twitter, definitely follow him and say hello! (@chefsymon)
I always enjoy seeing him compete on Iron Chef America, which is why that show is my pick for tonight. Chef Symon competes with Chef Roger Mooking, a well-known R&B sensation from Canada, tonight. No idea what the secret ingredient is going to be, but I have no doubt it’ll be a great competition!
Don’t miss it tonight on the Food Network at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Iron Chef America @ Clicker.

Mob Wives has totally turned into my new guilty pleasure! If you aren’t familiar with this show, let me tell you, you need to catch up! This juicy docu-drama comes off just like a soap opera, with all of the fuss that goes on between these ladies. This series follows the lives of four women, who are at a crossroads, as they have to pick up the pieces and carry on while their husbands or fathers do jail time for Mob-related activities. These women struggle with their identities, their families, and what their future holds. The ladies are long time friends, who live in New York City’s Staten Island. They get into battles with each other, their families, friends, and in the long run, really try and do what is best for themselves and their children. They all want to set the record straight about their lives and how the world sees the Mob.
Tonight, the ladies air out their grievances and share their issues. Meanwhile, the fight at Renee’s house takes quite a surprising turn.
Tune in to VH1 at 8/7c for another gripping episode! Learn where to find episodes online of Mob Wives @ Clicker.
