Tonight is the series premiere of The Glee Project on Oxygen at 9/8c. From Ryan Murphy, the Creator & Executive Producer of Glee, comes the 10-episode competition series, The Glee Project, which finds and trains a group of 12 extraordinarily talented performers who compete against one another to win a seven episode guest starring role on “Glee.” From thousands of entries, and an exhaustive nationwide and online talent search, the series uncovers a unique group of artists from both professional and amateur backgrounds proving every underdog has a fighting chance at stardom. Before the premiere, check out the 1-hour ‘The Final 12’ special at 8/7c.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Protector on Lifetime at 10/9c. The show centers on divorced mother Gloria Sheppard (Ally Walker, Sons of Anarchy, Profiler), who juggles her demanding personal and professional life as an intuitive LAPD homicide detective while raising two boys, Leo (Thomas Robinson, Heroes) and Nick (Sage Ryan, The Closer), with the live-in help of her troubled younger brother Davey (Chris Payne Gilbert, Dexter, Bones). The series also stars Tisha Campbell-Martin (Rita Rocks, My Wife and Kids) as Gloria’s partner Michelle Dulcett, Miguel Ferrer (Crossing Jordan, Traffic) as their boss Lieutenant Felix Valdez and Terrell Tilford (Soul Food, One Life to Live) as police officer Ramon “Romeo” Rush.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Ice Loves Coco on E! at 10:30/9:30c. Over the past six decades, TV couples like Desi/Lucy, Mork/Mindy and Ozzy/Sharon have demonstrated that sometimes the most unconventional pairings make for the most compelling viewing, and in their first-ever series about their marriage and family life, Ice-T and Coco follow that tradition. In this eight-episode, half-hour series, E! takes viewers behind the hype and conjecture and into the daily lives of rapper/actor/author/motivational speaker Ice and his fitness/swimsuit model/Internet-sensation buxom and bootylicious wife Coco. The two have been married ten years and remain inseparable, having spent only one day apart in all that time. From the start, Coco dedicated herself to becoming the woman behind her man, and is the heart and soul of the family brand. But, now that she has a series of projects of her own on the horizon, Coco has set her sights on establishing a solo career while maintaining balance in her relationship. With a loving and adventurous take on life, this over the top celebrity couple will blow expectations to smithereens.

It is inspired by Fran Drescher’s real life experience and follows Los Angeles florist Fran (Drescher) whose 18-year marriage ends suddenly when her husband (Higgins) announces he’s gay. And if that weren’t enough, he can’t afford to move out. They figured out how to be “Happily Divorced,” but her being single and his being gay, while living under one roof, is a whole other story. Each week, three new chefs have one shot at impressing DiSpirito by cooking their signature dish. The two strongest will advance to the next round, where they are challenged to develop a full menu in competing dinner parties. Yet food is only half the battle. Allowed one consultation with Jes Gordan, celebrity event producer, the chef’s must also design a unique party concept, as decor and ambiance will be judged alongside their food. Each episode will have a theme for which the chef’s must base their meal and dining experience around. Which party will be a scrumptious soiree and which a flavorless fiasco? DiSpirito will decide.
