If We Controlled Your Remote… 6/17/11

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Seriously, it’s been kind of a long week, and there hasn’t been a ton of new TV on to take away the dullness of the week. lol (But that does mean we were able to catch the last 2 episodes of Breakout Kings and the next to last episode of Chuck we had on the DVR. *laugh* This weekend, we’ll watch the season finales of Chuck, Body of Proof, and the final 2 episodes of Breaking In. For tonight, though, there are a few new episodes worth mentioning, so read on to see what Megan, Lisa, and I recommend!

Flashpoint has been strong this season. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each and every episode, and tonight looks to be no different. For one thing, Spy Daddy is back! Victor Garber (Alias) guest stars on tonight’s ep, which makes me very, very happy, although I’m not going to be fond of his character. AT. ALL. Still… It’s Spy Daddy!

On tonight’s episode, an outsider is brought in to perform some psychological testing on Team One, which causes them to turn on each other, fearing that someone will be let go. On the way to the hospital to witness the birth of his child, something happens that might prevent Ed from seeing the delivery.

Don’t miss what is sure to be an explosive new episode on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Flashpoint @ Clicker.

Paranormal Challenge takes two teams, puts them in a haunted location for one night, and lets the games begin. In every episode, a famous haunted hotspot is featured, and Zak Bagans (lead investigator on Ghost Adventures) invites two specially chosen teams of amateur ghost hunters to spend the night locked in these locations. The challenge puts the teams’ paranormal skills against each other to see who the ultimate winner is. They each get high-tech gear to investigate these hotspots, and after a night of gathering evidence, they present their findings to Zak and a panel of judges. They will be judged on teamwork, their use of technology, and the evidence collected during the lockdown.

On tonight’s episode the teams are locked in the Rolling Hills Asylum. Since it opened in 1827 as the Genesee County Poor Farm, the Rolling Hills Asylum has had many faces. Some unfortunates never escaped the place, alive or dead—and haunt it to this day. Chairman of Paranormal Challenge, Zak Bagans gives 2 paranormal investigation teams, Resident Undead Paranormal and Paranormal Xpeditions, the chance to test their investigation skills in a place so horrifying, it even terrifies its own ghosts!

After a week’s reprieve of a new Friday Night Lights episode, I am jonesing for a fix of this show! With all of the drama, action, and heartache that Friday Night Lights showcases, it always makes for captivating and must see TV! When this show finally does go off the air, it’s going to be heartbreaking, as these characters have come to be such amazing fixtures in our lives.

Tonight, Coach Taylor threatens to suspend Vince, while Billy receives some very surprising news from Mindy. Meanwhile, Becky begins a new job, and Tami and Epyck’s relationship begins to flourish.

Catch an all new episode at 8/7c on NBC! Learn where to find episodes online of Friday Night Lights @ Clicker.
