Saturday on TV – 6/18/11

Saturday features 2 series premieres and 1 season premiere, all on BBC America. First up is the series premiere of Outcasts at 9/8c. The frontier sci-fi drama Outcasts stars Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty, The L Word), Liam Cunningham (Clash Of The Titans) and Hermione Norris (MI-5, Wire in the Blood). Created and written by Ben Richards and shot in South Africa, the series takes viewers into a new world as it explores survival, sex, politics and the drive for power in a new post-Earth era.
Following that, it’s the season premiere of The Inbetweeners at 11/10c.
Finally, following that, it’s the series premiere of Come Fly with Me at 11:30/10:30c. The show is a gloriously magnificent mock-documentary set in an airport terminal. Matt Lucas and David Walliams play over 60 characters from flight crew and check-in to paparazzi and passengers.
