Tonight is kind of (read: REALLY) slow tonight for new television. You can definitely tell the summer season is close to ending! Still, we’ve each found something to recommend tonight, so what we have is yours!
I love Top Shot. It’s a show that my entire family loves to watch together. It’s fun to watch the different people come together and shoot all those different weapons, from handguns to bows and arrows to sniper rifles. Like I’ve mentioned before, I tend to root for the underdog, and I’ve possibly found that person this season. Twenty-eight year old Dustin is a Christian Summer Camp Director, self taught at shooting. I think the others are seriously going to underestimate his ability, if they haven’t already. There are quite a few more in the lineup that I like still, but we’ll see as the season plays out whether or not they remain on my good side!
On tonight’s episode, the speed and accuracy of both teams are challenged with shotguns. When two of the marksmen are forced to fight elimination, they are given a Glock .34 and a line of non-stop cannonballs to strike targets in hopes of staying in the competition.

A few weeks ago, I recommended the series premiere of Take the Money and Run, which ended up being quite a disappointment. However, the past two weeks have really redeemed the show. We have had some really likeable contestants to root for, who haven’t taken the game way too seriously. Last week, I even found myself kind of rooting for the cops! Please note, by cops, I don’t mean I was rooting for the interrogators. That would be insane. I’m hoping this trend of fun contestants continues.
In tonight’s episode, “Who’s Playing Whom?,” domestic partners in Chicago try to hide $100,000 from local police detectives.

Only one more episode until the midseason finale of Pretty Little Liars! Secrets can only stay hidden for so long without someone finding out, whether you want them to or not. The girls may have found someone that they feel comfortable with divulging their twisted web of secrets, blackmail, and torture with A. But will it come at a price for all of them, or just the person they’ve dragged into their mess?
After finally reaching their boiling point of being pushed around and threatened by A, Emily and her friends realize that something drastic has to be done in order to save her. The Liars turn to the one person that they have come to trust who they know that she can’t divulge their secrets – Dr. Anne Sullivan (guest star Annabeth Gish). Now that the ladies are finally able to reveal the torment that A has been putting them through to someone outside of their group, they begin to have some sense of relief, and Emily gets a boost of courage. With the cat out of the bag, though, and some of the weight being lifted off of their shoulders, could the Liars have actually provoked the beast and bitten off more than they can chew? And now, with Dr. Sullivan in the know about A, could she be A’s next target?
Meanwhile, Hanna’s grandmother (guest star Betty Buckley) comes into town and stirs up a lot of trouble for Tom’s rehearsal dinner.

I know that Combat Hospital hasn’t been a huge hit, but it’s been a weekly event for us. The cast is great, the stories are believeable, but more importantly, the show itself hits home with its solidiers and war. It’s a show that opens our eyes to issues, but peppers it with humour to help us smile at the same time.
On tonight’s episode, a chaplain has a lapse of faith, but is ordered to hold a vigil with Simon during a difficult surgery.
