It’s Monday, it’s Monday! I’m so happy because Monday night is my favorite night for TV tonight. I love so many shows, so even though it’s the first work day of the week, I look forward to Monday nights. I hope you had a great weekend, but even if that or your Monday sucks, you’ll be able to sit down and have a great time watching some quality TV tonight. Enjoy!

Last week’s episode of Castle was fantastic. Castle & his mother were inside the bank when a group of bank robbers held up the place. Castle just happened to be on the phone with Beckett when it happened, which is when one of my favorite parts happened. He told her he thought the bank was being robbed, and she asked, “Really? Are you that bored?” Then the first robber yelled that it was a holdup, and Beckett realized Castle hadn’t just been letting his imagination run wild. Beckett turned to Ryan and Espisito and told them there was a bank robbery in progess. They snarked about since when did they handle bank robberies, and she only had to say two words for them to jump into action: “Castle’s there.” It was fantastic. There were some stand out moments throughout, including Alexis arriving at the bank and freaking out on Beckett, the look and hand touch when Castle passed the note to Beckett after she came into the bank posing as an EMT to get out a “hostage,” and probably my favorite part… when there was an explosion at the end and Beckett thought Castle was dead, but found out a minute later when they went inside that he was safe… They shared this long look and tender moment that just HAD to be ruined by Martha. I could seriously watch the explosion and next two minutes over and over again to see that look on their faces. lol Anyway, the end of the episode, where Beckett came to Castle’s apartment for dinner. It was a great moment just between the two of them, as well as with Beckett and all of the Castle family. I really loved the episode, as always.
On tonight’s episode, “Heartbreak Hotel,” during the investigation of the murder of an Atlantic City casino owner at an abandoned warehouse, strong leads emerge for the team in both New York and Atlantic City. As Beckett and Capt. Gates work the New York leads together, Castle naturally chooses to join the detectives for the road trip to “America’s Playground,” hoping to help solve the case while throwing an impromptu bachelor party for Ryan. Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives) guest stars as Charlie Turner, the slick business partner of the victim.

I have to admit that Danny was really making me angry in last week’s episode of Hawaii Five-0. He was short tempered and just acting like a fool, but I’m glad it seemed to clear up before the credits rolled. I’d hate to end up disliking him because of his attitude. On a lighter note, I still enjoyed McGarrett, because of course, he’s fabulous. There’s never a time I don’t enjoy the storylines or the characters, and if you think it’s just another police procedural, you need to take the time to watch and fall in love with it like I have. But don’t fall in love with McGarret (Alex O’Loughlin), because he’s already spoken for by me. 🙂
On tonight’s episode, “Lapa’au (Healing),” Five-0 investigates a suspicious plane crash and the death of a customs agent who was on board. The case takes a twist when the probe reveals the victim was dead before the plane took flight.

Last season, I started to lose interest in House. However, the addition of Dr. Adams and Dr. Park this season has given new life to the show, making House one of the Monday shows I really look forward to. These two young doctors have been a breath of fresh air for the series, adding some great comedy and new inter-character dynamics. Last week, House was able to secure funding for his team via some less-than-legal means. (Could anyone really expect Gregory House to do things above board?!) So that means Chase and Taub will be back. Tonight’s episode will be the true test for me—will the series fall into the same rut as last year, or will they be able to effectively utilize all the members of House’s team?
In tonight’s episode, “The Confession,” a well-respected man (Jamie Bamber, Battlestar Galactica) collapses mysteriously, and while treating him, the team discovers that he has been hiding secrets. His admission of them compromises his chances for recovery. Meanwhile, Chase and Taub rejoin the team, and Taub juggles his work life with raising two infant girls with two different mothers.

They may bill these ladies as two broke girls, but in reality, they’re seriously rich. Rich in chemistry and comedy, that is! Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs provide all that and more when you watch the show Two Broke Girls. These ladies know how to bounce banter off one another and use the witty dialogue they are given to their advantage. When you tune in to this unassuming show, you may think this is about two opposites attracting, but it’s so much deeper than that. These ladies connect on so many levels that you’ll be blown away by the charm, the smarm, the sarcasm, and everything else in between! On last week’s episode, Max worried when Johnny sat in Caroline’s section, but he (sexily) told her it was only because his friend who he was with was crushing hard on Caroline and begged Johnny to get him an in with her. On the cupcake front, Caroline signed herself and Max up for a course on decorating cupcakes, but after butting heads with the b*tchy cousins who taught the course, Caroline was ready to quit. Max, who was against the idea to begin with, worried that she was unable to do it, so she pushed herself and was finally able to create a rose to their specifications. Then she smashed the cupcake into the tabletop and pulled out two with snarky sayings for the cousins—to which Caroline decided that would be their schtick!
Tonight, Max and Caroline take on another job of cleaning out a hoarder’s apartment. Also, Max learns that Johnny has a secret!

Who doesn’t love Mike & Molly? And last week’s Halloween episode should become a classic for the costumes alone. How perfect were Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell as Bride of Frankenstein and Frankenstein, respectively? And Katy Mixon’s Victoria stole the show as a three-eyed, three-boobed alien. I think they missed the mark by not having Joyce and Vince dress up as Lucy and Ricky…but that’s just my opinion. Meanwhile, Carl as Zoro and Samuel as SpongeBob SquarePants were not that thrilling.
This week, we get an episode centered around Carl, played by the always hilarious and spot on Reno Wilson. Carl and Mike are in the diner as usual, discussing what else…giving into women’s demands. But in walks a doctor, none other than the gorgeous and funny Holly Robinson Peete (For Your Love, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, & 21 Jump Street), who Carl sets his sights on. Tune in to see if Carl meets his dream woman and if Nana has anything to say about it. And continuing the arc playing through this season, Mike and Molly deal with her spending extra time at work trying to secure the vice principal position at her school.

Last week’s How I Met Your Mother guest starred Katie Holmes as the Slutty Pumpkin, which is a blast from the past. Ted met her 10 years before, but accidentally lost her number, which was written a candy wrapper. He finally found her, but as with almost always when something you spend a decade wishing and wanting for something or someone, it ended up being a let down. They weren’t suited for one another at all, even though they both tried. Moving on to Barney & Robin… Robin friended Barney’s dad on Facebook and learned that Barney’s paternal grandmother was Canadian. Now, Barney is ALWAYS ragging on Robin for being Canadian, so she was positively gleeful as she let him in on the news that he was part Canadian, too. She basically tortured him the entire episode, which was great fun to watch. Finally, Lily and Marshall visited her grandparents in the suburbs, and they were told they were inheriting the house because the grandparents were moving to Florida. Lily’s pregnancy brain coerced her to accept it and she told Marshall they were moving to the suburbs. After spending some time on Halloween night at the house, Marshall was able to convince her the suburbs weren’t for them. I enjoyed it, although something VERY similar happened on the Halloween episode of Happy Endings. Still, overall, it was a fun episode—my favorite being the Barney/Robin story.
On tonight’s episode, “Disaster Averted,” the gang reminisces about what happened during Hurricane Irene and Barney tries desperately to get out of wearing the ducky tie.

There’s something great about watching a show that delivers comedy, relationships, and some medical drama all in one hour. Hart of Dixie is one of these shows. I love Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart. She just shines every week. I’m not sure if I want her with George or Wade, but I love the sexual tension she has with both of them. Let’s hope the town eventually accepts her like we all have, or else she’s going to drive herself crazy trying to fit in.
On tonight’s episode, “The Undead & The Unsaid,” Zoe hits a man while driving, only to find that he’s vanished, and then she’s told he’s been dead for a year. Lemon and George’s hopes of buying the house of their dreams fizzle when Lavon refuses to authorize the purchase.
