Tuesday is one of the most anticipated nights on TV, and it’s always for good reason. You’ve got plenty of shows that will help be the bandaid for your grueling work week. It’s never easy starting another week of work, but with the promise of some escapism just hours away, the clock seems to tick faster. Don’t spend your time watching the hands fly by all day long; just fantasize about the worlds, places, and people you’ll get to vicariously know and love when you tune in to your favorite shows.

Last week on Glee, Sectionals went down, and it was of epic proportion. New Directions battled the Trouble Tones for the winning spot, and New Directions came out on top. Rachel was not allowed to perform, due to her election scandal, and New Directions was stuck in the lurch, trying to figure out what to do to take the crown. Finn and Rachel found Sam and brought him back to McKinley, where he re-enrolled. Quinn finally realized the errors of her ways after a pep talk from Rachel, and the ladies of the Trouble Tones joined forces with New Directions. Tis the season, and tonigh,t the Gleeks celebrate a very Gleekmus. Don’t miss a moment.
Tonight, on an all new Glee, the club members face a tough decision when they are asked to perform in two different places at the very same time.

Even though it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I find Last Man Standing incredibly funny. It’s one of my favorite comedies on television right now, and I hope it sticks around a while. Last episode found Kristin’s baby-daddy (played by one of the Jonas brothers) returning, wanting to be a part of his kid’s life. It was fun seeing Kyle get all flustered, thinking he had to compete with the guy for Kristin’s affection—even going so far as to propose!—when really, he didn’t have to. Kristin made it pretty clear to not only him, but to her father, that she didn’t want him anymore, but that she thought it would be good for Boyd to have his father in his life. I agree. But man, the guy rubbed me wrong! haha
On tonight’s fall finale, “The Passion of the Mandy,” Mike, amazed that Mandy might finally have found a passion for something, takes her under his wing at work when she offers to start an Internet campaign to keep Ed’s favorite barber shop hangout from closing. Also, an exhausted Vanessa insists that she can still take care of the household despite her hectic work schedule, until she falls asleep during her own business presentation.

A good procedural requires good stories, but more importantly, it requires a cast with great chemistry. We get both of those things with NCIS. What I love most is how Abby has a special relationship with everyone. From Gibbs to Tony, Abby always enhances the weekly case. I also love the interactions from Ziva and Tony. Week after week, they solve the case and manage to make us laugh along the way.
On tonight’s episode, “Newborn King,” the team tries to find and protect a pregnant marine on Christmas Eve when her life is threatened.

Raising Hope continues to be my favorite Tuesday night comedy. Last week, we learned more about Jimmy’s past, and how he and Frank were bullied by the same guy in high school. When Jimmy and Frank confronted the bully, they discovered that he is now a she (thanks, in part, to a comment by Virginia). However, this doesn’t deter them from seeking their revenge, starting a fight they had no chance of winning.
The Chance family is so much fun. They always manage to find the bright side to any situation—I would love to have this kind of unfailing optimism! Last week, I really enjoyed seeing more of Frank’s life outside of the supermarket—as creepy as it was! 🙂 I’m really looking forward to tonight’s holiday episode.
In tonight’s episode, “It’s a Hopeful Life,” Jimmy imagines a life without Hope when he enters a strange, dreamlike world where he never slept with her mother, Lucy (Bijou Phillips). Meanwhile, the Chances go to the movies, but are surprised to see cinematic versions of themselves on the screen.

I really miss new episodes of Unforgettable, since we last saw it before Thanksgiving. I know not everyone likes the show, but while I realize it’s not the best crime drama on TV, there’s just something I adore about Poppy Montgomery. I love the chemistry she and Dylan Walsh have as Carrie & Al. I do wish we got to see more of the team of detectives helping with the cases, because while I understand the show is really about Carrie and her ability, they are there, as well, and should be shown more! Tonight is the fall finale, so enjoy until the show returns in January.
On tonight’s fall finale, “Spirited Away,” when a renowned ghost hunter is killed, Carrie and Al discover that his death is linked to a chilling discovery he made on a recent assignment. Jennifer Ferrin (As the World Turns, The Cape), Scott Cohen (Necessary Roughness) guest star.

When we last left off on New Girl, Jess and Paul were working out how to have sex. Both awkward in their own ways, they struggled to figure out if they were doing it right, if they were good, and what the new things are that people like in bed. It was a train wreck. Luckily, in the end, they threw out all of the rules and made it up as they went. Schmidt tried to advance his career by angling for an invite to his boss’s baby shower. When he got there, he turned it into quite the frat party. These roommates never have a dull moment, and that’s the way we love it!
On tonight’s episode, the gang heads to Schmidt’s holiday office party, and Jess frets over an expensive gift from Paul (guest star Justin Long).

A good story—check. Great chemistry—check. A cast hotter than hell—CHECK! NCIS: LA is one of my favorite procedurals, and it’s not just because the cast is smoking hot. I love how Sam and G have witty banter that makes the case more interesting. Not to mention how hot is the sexual tension between Eric and Nell? I wish they’d get to it already. 🙂 [Note from Jenny: Hey, Megan, what about my favorite couple, Kensi & Deeks, huh?! 😉 ] This season has been answering a few of our questions about the past of the characters—mainly G, but also Sam. I’m still shocked about him having a wife and kid, aren’t you?
On tonight’s episode, “Higher Power,” the team searches for a classified device that was stolen from a college research facility and has the capability of destroying Los Angeles.

As I say every week, I love Flashpoint. I love how the team works together, and I love the glimpses into their personal lives we get on occasion. I wish we got more, but I’ll definitely take what I can get! Last week was good—it’s always good to get more Spike—but the episode before that was so intense! The guy was clearly unstable—a man who had been turned down for a position with SRU because he was…well, it boiled down to he was basically trigger happy. I’m sure there is a better way to phrase it, but he failed the psych portion of the test. When his life fell apart, he blamed Greg, and when he got the chance, he set it up so he could be the hero, ultimately holding Greg hostage way up in the air, threatening to drop him to his death. Greg talked him down, so to speak, and the guy pulled him up, but then he killed himself. One thing I didn’t understand was why the team didn’t shock him or whatever so Greg could save him. Ah well!
On tonight’s episode, “Team Player,” Team One is called to a high-security psychiatric hospital where a violent patient has taken a guard hostage and injured fellow patient, Charlie Alanak (Rossif Sutherland). The team quickly subdues the subject only to discover that Charlie has escaped and taken Nurse Lorraine Manley (Kristen Harris) with him. While Parker uncovers details of Charlie’s shattered life, the rest of the team tracks him into the city, where they discover a startling secret from his past.
