Tonight is the series premiere of Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off on Food Network at 9/8c. In this six-episode competition series, Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri will each serve as coaches and mentors to eight multi-talented celebrities, all of whom are passionate about food and cooking. Divided into “Team Rachael” and “Team Guy,” each episode features celebrity contestants battling it out in a fun, fast-paced culinary fight-to-the-finish, with the two bottom-rated contestants from the losing team going head-to-head in a blind tasting elimination challenge. In the end, the last contestant standing is crowned king or queen of the Celebrity Cook-Off and wins $50,000 for the charity they are playing to support. Contestants include Alyssa Campanella (the current Miss USA), actors Cheech Marin and Lou Diamond Phillips, singers Aaron Carter, Coolio, Joey Fatone, and Taylor Dane, and Olympic gold medalist swimmer Summer Sanders.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Angry Boys on HBO at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. What does it mean to be a 21st-century male? Australia’s Chris Lilley puts the species under a microscope to find out in the edgy new comedy series. Series creator and writer Lilley, who was also the creator and star of the acclaimed HBO series Summer Heights High, uses his chameleon-like talents to play multiple roles in a mock-documentary look at the lives of average boys and men, displaying their day-to-day interactions and struggles to fulfill their obligations to family and friends. The show focuses on six characters, all played by Lilley: Nathan and Daniel Sims, identical 17-year-old twins who live in the fictional town of Dunt, South Australia; 65-year-old Ruth Sims (aka “Gran”), Nathan and Daniel’s loving but no-nonsense grandmother, who’s a prison officer at the Sydney Garingal Juvenile Justice Center for teenage boys; S.mouse, a 24-year-old African-American rapper from Los Angeles; Jen Okazaki, a soft-spoken, often cold Japanese wife and mother of three, whose son Tim is an aspiring skateboarding champion; and Blake Oakfield, a 38-year-old former championship surfer from the fictional town of Narmucca Bay, New South Wales.

Tonight is the series premiere of Work It on ABC at 8:30/7:30c. The show centers on Lee Standish (Ben Koldyke, How I Met Your Mother) — a quick-witted and likable family man who used to be a top car salesman until he got laid off — and Angel Ortiz (Amaury Nolasco, Prison Break) — a single, hot-headed ladies’ man with no filter — who quickly learn there are fundamental differences in the worlds of men and women that go beyond teetering in high heels and tightening up with Spanx. Lee and Angel are determined to keep their ruse going for as long as they can — and keep their newly found jobs – in this smart, funny and relevant look at male and female relationships at work, at home and socially. Being a better man sometimes means having to be a better woman. The show also stars Beth Lacke (Happy Hour) as Connie, John Caparulo (Chelsea Lately) as Brian, Rebecca Mader (Lost) as Grace, Rochelle Aytes (Detroit 1-8-7) as Vanessa, Kate Reinders (Sherrie) as Kelly, Kirstin Eggers (Aussie and Ted’s Great Adventure) as Kristin, and Kacie Lynch (Barney and Friends) as Kat.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Jane By Design on ABC Family at 9/8c. Jane Quimby (newcomer Erica Dasher) is a quirky teen with an eclectic chic fashion sense, who lands a job at a hip fashion house when they mistake her for an adult. Torn between her love of fashion and the need to finish high school, Jane conceals her true age to assist the demanding, but talented Gray Chandler Murray (Andie MacDowell), who travels the world in search of the next big style trend. Jane quickly learns that working for a successful executive in the cutthroat world of fashion brings on adversaries like India Jourdain (India De Beaufort, One Tree Hill), an associate designer and Gray’s former assistant, who is now gunning for Gray’s job. Fortunately, Jane has the charming and handsome senior designer Jeremy Jones (Rowly Dennis, Desperate Housewives) on her side — and peaking her interest — although she still harbors feelings for long-time crush, Nick Fadden (Matthew Atkinson, CSI), at school. The show also stars David Clayton Rogers (Cougar Town), Nicholas Roux (Lemonade Mouth), & Meagan Tandy (10 Things I Hate About You).

The third series premiere tonight is Jamie’s American Road Trip on BBC America at 10/9c. In a country as diverse as the United States, chef Jamie Oliver has found an opportunity for the ultimate food trip – a chance to explore places, ingredients, food culture and traditions. This epic journey takes Jamie to the heart of America: its people, culture, music and most importantly, its food. With the intent of unearthing the heart of great American food, getting past the junk and super-sized portions, Jamie set out on what he knew would be an inspiring trip. Jamie’s instincts were right on. From New York to New Orleans, the dynamism of Los Angeles to the big skies of Wyoming, he found what he was looking for – some of the most diverse and delicious recipes he has ever come across.

Tonight is the series premiere of Project Runway: All Stars on Lifetime at 9/8c. A new day has arrived for 13 of the show’s most talented and memorable designers who’ve come back to the catwalk to face a brand new panel of discerning eyes with host supermodel Angela Lindvall, world-famous designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges and fashion tastemaker and mentor, Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles. The designers have already shown what they can do and have created names for themselves since appearing on their seasons but will they have what it takes to impress these fashion elites? They must also show off their fashion prowess to guest judges such as the iconic Miss Piggy, supermodel Miranda Kerr and musician and producer Pharrell Williams, among others throughout the season.

Following that, it’s the series premiere of 24 Hour Catwalk on Lifetime at 10/9c. Featuring television personality and global style icon Alexa Chung, four talented designers get the chance to create their own collection for the judging eyes of industry bigwigs. But, they must do so in only 24 hours! Who will have the vision, the talent and most importantly, the endurance to make it on the runway? Hosted by Alexa Chung, each episode of 24 Hour Catwalk gives four designers the chance to compete to create their own line… in just one day. After a first cut challenge and elimination that will test their innovation and aesthetic, the competition whittles down to two, each tasked with creating a themed collection for their own star-studded runway show. Contestants will be on pins and needles when they, along with help of 24 Hour Catwalk’s talented and opinionated sewing team, must prepare to showcase their three-piece collection to the program’s judges, including renowned designer Cynthia Rowley, New York Times best-selling author and fashion editor Derek Blasberg and power publicist James LaForce. As the clock ticks down, tensions run high as 24 Hour Catwalk tests who has the will, desire and stamina to create clothes worthy of winning a $10,000 cash prize courtesy of Cover Girl and Herbal Essences.
