Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of The Firm on NBC at 9/8c. Based on the blockbuster feature film and best-selling novel by world-renowned author John Grisham, The Firm continues the story of attorney Mitchell McDeere and his family 10 years after the events of the film and novel. As a young associate, McDeere brought down the prestigious Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, which operated as a front for the Chicago mob — and his life was never the same. After a difficult decade, which included a stay in the Federal Witness Protection program, Mitch and his family now emerge from isolation to reclaim their lives and their future — only to find that past dangers are still lurking and new threats are everywhere. The show stars Josh Lucas (J. Edgar), Callum Keith Rennie (The Killing), Molly Parker (Deadwood), Natasha Calis (The Possession), Juliette Lewis (Cape Fear), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), & Shaun Majumder (Detroit 1-8-7).

Tonight is also the series premiere of Cajun Pawn Stars on History Channel at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, made internationally famous in Pawn Stars (also on History Channel), isn’t the only family-run shop in America that’s bursting at the seams with one-of-a-kind historical items and fascinating stories. Silver Dollar Pawn & Jewelry Center in Alexandria, Louisiana owned and operated by Jimmie DeRamus and his family, is a colorful place that collects an eclectic array of historical merchandise, with a daily stream of quirky local characters attempting to sell, purchase or pawn items – including livestock.

The third series premiere tonight is House of Lies on Showtime at 10/9c. This new dark comedy is about all the screwed up ways big business is practiced these days. The series, based on the hit tell-all book from best-selling author Martin Kihn (“House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time”), peels back the bull to reveal a world few know exists and fewer still have experienced. Meet Marty Kaan (Academy Award nominee Don Cheadle, Ocean’s Eleven), the big-money earner at Galweather & Stearn, along with his hot, young team – The Pod – of big-balling power players – Jeannie (Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars), Clyde (Ben Schwartz, Undercovers) and Doug (Josh Lawson). Marty and The Pod’s work life is all first-class, top-shelf, black Am Ex, the best suites at the nicest hotels. Wild nights on the town servicing the clients are all in a day’s work. Marty is the ultimate power player and under his direction, this ruthless, pull-no-punches team is here to stick it to the man by beating the corporate suckers at their own game.

Tonight is the series premiere of Shipping Wars on A&E at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. The show follows six independent shippers who have discovered that fortunes could be made transporting items that traditional carriers won’t touch. Each episode dives into the cutthroat world of these heavy-duty movers as they battle for the chance to transport the unshippable. The competition begins with uShip, the world’s largest online auction house for independent truckers. Every day, thousands of shipments are put up for auction. The battle is fierce as the movers have only minutes to bid, and the lowest bidder gets the load. From oversized loads and bulky packages to the truly bizarre, these shippers will haul anything if the price is right. The high-stakes race is on as they set out to deliver the loads in time, and any setback can cost big bucks.

Tonight is the series premiere of Are You There, Chelsea? on NBC at 8:30/7:30c Inspired by the best-selling books from actress/comedian Chelsea Handler, “Are You There, Chelsea?” follows the exploits of the twentysomething Chelsea (Laura Prepon, October Road, That ’70s Show), an opinionated and unapologetic young woman who lives life to the fullest as a cocktail waitress, friend, daughter, sister and sexually dynamic “advanced drinker.” Chelsea’s life revolves around her work at Jerry’s Ultimate Sports Bar in New Jersey, where she is surrounded by an eclectic group of friends and co-workers, including Rick (Jake McDorman, Greek), the handsome bartender; Olivia (Ali Wong, Breaking In), a fellow cocktail waitress and Chelsea’s best friend since childhood; and Todd (Mark Povinelli, Water for Elephants), the bar back who is always ready with a quick comeback. Chelsea and Olivia have recently moved in with Dee Dee (Lauren Lapkus, The Middle), a sweet and somewhat sheltered young woman who could be considered the polar opposite of Chelsea. And then there’s Chelsea’s dad, Melvin (Lenny Clarke, Rescue Me), a man with a big personality and a big heart… and all too often – a big mouth. Chelsea Handler (Chelsea Lately) has a recurring role as Chelsea’s born-again Christian sister, Sloane, a married, conservative new mom who has little in common with her carefree sister.

Tonight is the series premiere of Amazing Eats on Travel Channel at 9/8c. We’ve seen more than our fair share of sizzling cheeseburgers, monster pizza slices and intimidatingly thick and juicy steaks over the years. But of all the down-home and delicious chow-down joints Adam Richman visited from coast to coast, there are the proud and the few so finger-licking good, they’re simply unforgettable. In each themed 30-minute episode, we’re celebrating America’s most delicious, biggest and best of the best. From the most massive of meals served at a single table, to the tallest standing sandwiches in history, we’re embracing it all. Each episode takes on yet another subject of the people’s choices of chow – the meatiest, the most fried, the spiciest and the sweetest.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Finder on FOX at 9/8c. From the creator of the hit series Bones comes The Finder, a quirky, one-hour procedural centering on a different kind of detective: a remarkable man with the extraordinary ability to help people find the unfindable. Iraq war veteran Walter Sherman (Geoff Stults, Happy Town, October Road, 7th Heaven) gained a reputation in his army days as being the go-to guy for tracking down insurgents and deserters and finding improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Unfortunately one IED found Walter before he could find it, resulting in severe brain damage with a lasting and unexpected effect. Walter transformed from someone skilled at the standard recovery of people and things to someone much more extraordinary: a Finder. With this newly discovered “Finder Power,” Walter locates almost anything for just about anyone. Once he’s on a case, there’s no turning back until he’s found exactly what he’s looking for – whether that’s a dead body, a missing father, a guitar pick, a murder weapon or a pair of lucky socks. The series also stars Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile), Maddie Hasson, & Mercedes Masohn (Three Rivers).

Tonight is also the series premiere of Rob on CBS at 8:30/7:30c. The show stars Rob Schneider as a lifelong bachelor who just married into a tight-knit Mexican-American family. Rob is a successful landscape architect who, after a whirlwind romance, marries Maggie, a beautiful, smart book translator, who is way out of his league. After eloping in Las Vegas, Maggie and Rob must break the news to her overprotective, judgmental parents, Rosa and Fernando, that they are married. Shocked by news that they’ve eloped, the family remains skeptical of Maggie’s choice for a husband, with the exception of her uncle Hector, the black sheep of the family, who immediately declares himself Rob’s best friend. Rob hopes he will one day win over his new in-laws, aunts, uncles and Maggie’s Abuelita, and live happily ever after with his one true love, Maggie. In addition to Schneider, the show stars Cheech Marin (Nash Bridges, Nadine Velazquez (My Name is Earl), Lupe Ontiveros (Desperate Housewives), Ricky Rico, Manolo Travieso, Juan Martinez, & Eugenio Derbez.
