This weekend was kind of odd for me… My sleep schedule is screwy, so I’ve been taking long naps during the day (sleeping, but since it’s daytime, I’m calling it naps. lol), and have been up at night. I’m ok doing that for a while, but man, I think it’s catching up with me. My eyes feel like sandpaper. My kid has a science project he’s working on, but it calls for a soluble starch. Now, we looked all over, and as best we could figure out, cornstarch should have worked. We heated it like we read we’d need to, but then when he added the iodine solution to it trying to get a reaction, it never changed color. So…back to the drawing board—and to his science teacher. We’re hoping she knows what she’s doing enough to help the kid figure out what he should be using. Any scientists out there want to chime in? LOL Anyway, it’s a slower week this week, but there is some FABULOUS stuff on tonight, so let’s get to it! Here’s what we think you should be watching tonight.

O-M-G. Castle fans—or more specifically, Caskett shippers—make sure you are sitting down. Tonight is going to be a great episode. One of the clips I’ve seen made me squee like a school girl. Seriously. This show has really been growing and maturing and developing across the board over the last season and a half. The last episode was kind of a big test for Castle and Beckett—as a team working together to solve crimes and as a possible future couple. When the mayor came under suspicion of murder, Beckett was told by Captain Gates to basically treat him with respect, but not to pussyfoot around and not go after him when evidence pointed to him simply because he was the mayor and Castle’s friend. In the end, it was Wendell—or rather, Jordan Norris—who had done the deed. The damage was done, though. Between the investigation for murder and the investigation into skimming funds, the mayor’s bid for higher office was curtailed. Now, that’s a good thing, since to protect Beckett regarding her mother’s case, Castle has to be there with her, working at the station. If the mayor is gone, so is Castle. Eek. All in all, it was a great episode, and there were some fantastic moments from everyone.
On tonight’s episode, “An Embarrassment of Bitches,” when a famous dog trainer is killed, the investigation keeps coming back to charismatic reality TV star Kay Cappuccio (guest star Hilarie Burton, White Collar, One Tree Hill). Kay, a favorite of tabloids and gossip websites the world over, has achieved stardom without possessing any discernible skill or talent. But there seems to be more to her story than she is letting on – does that include murder? Justin Hartley (Smallville) guest stars as Reggie Starr, Kay’s boyfriend, and Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) plays Dr. Patty Barker, an eminent therapist whose talents are called upon when it’s discovered that one of her clients witnessed the murder.

It’s the first week back for Hart of Dixie, and I have missed the weekly antics of Dr. Zoe Hart. The chemistry of the cast is fabulous. The sexual tension between Zoe and Wade is starting heat up, and I can’t wait to see where they are going with this relationship. When we left our favorite town of Bluebell before the holidays, we had gained some more insight into how Lavon and Lemon first fell in love, as well as saw Zoe take a good look at her feelings for George.
On tonight’s episode, “Hell’s Belles,” Zoe goes in search of some family history in Bluebell, and she discovers that she is a legacy to Bluebell Belles. Of course, once Lemon catches wind of the news, she makes it her sole mission in life to make sure Zoe doesn’t become an official Belle and puts her through a humiliating initiation. With the help of Wade, Lavon attempts to jump back into the dating scene, but finds it difficult because Didi is telling everyone he’s in love with her. Meanwhile, George devises a plan to stop a huge chain store from building near Bluebell and as a result, drives business away from the town.

The new season of Being Human is off to a great start. In last week’s season premiere, Aiden met Mother, the new vampire in charge, who told him to dig up an old acquaintance, whom he will be in charge of protecting. Meanwhile, Sally met a former schoolmate at her reunion, who taught her that ghosts have the power to dream. And just before the credits rolled, Nora started to experience her first transformation into a wolf as Hegeman fired a silver bullet at Josh.
I am really enjoying this new season, and tonight is another excellent episode. I like that this season, the show is really going in its own direction and isn’t reusing plots from the UK series. They are developing each of these main characters and giving them interesting new stories. It’s great to finally get truly original episodes of this Syfy series.
In tonight’s episode, “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” Sally wields new powers thanks to new ghost friends, Aidan assists Suren’s bid to claim Boston, and Josh tries to deal with a change in his relationship with Nora.

On the last episode of Pretty Little Liars, Lucas was missing, but then reappeared and confessed what was really troubling him. Seems that he stole a large amount of money from Caleb, used it to bet on a sports game, and lost. He couldn’t bring himself to tell Caleb, so he was distraught. Looks like, for now, he has nothing to do with A and his/her schemes. Before Lucas’ reappearance, Hanna was troubled over his possible connection to A and was having a miserable week. Emily thought Maya might be having A troubles of her own, but it turned out that Maya admitted she hooked up with someone while she was at rehab camp…and it was a guy! Spencer followed a lead about A and learned some information about Jenna and where she really was during Alison’s death.
Tonight, on “Blond Leading the Blind,” they say that the best way to get to someone is through the people that they love, and A is well versed on that. Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer have sacrificed a lot at the hands of A. More often, it was related to love. Toby continues to pursue Spencer, even knowing that she is keeping something important from him. With another “accident” that can happen at any moment, Spencer becomes desperate to keep Toby safe and can only think of one way to really end it. Hanna is also worried about her relationship with Caleb and begs the other girls to stop using him to help with their search for A. The more that Caleb is involved, the bigger a target he may become. The big question, though, is the valuable information that Caleb finds more important to the other Liars then Caleb’s safety? Also, Aria is desperate to salvage her relationship with Ezra, who still won’t return her calls. Maybe a “date” with Holden will give Aria the opportunity to get some answers from Ezra that she longs for.

I am so freakin excited about tonight’s new episode of Lost Girl. Honestly, going in to this show, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it. Syfy is kind of hit or miss for me. While I love Warehouse 13 and Eureka, I’ve not really enjoyed anything else on there since Stargate: Atlantis ended. Plus, their Syfy movies are usually…well, crap. lol (My husband & I still laugh at one we saw as we were flipping through channels where Lorenzo Lamas was shooting dinosaurs—Raptor Island in 2004!—and every time a bullet would strike the dinos, it looked like paintballs. Not even RED paintballs, but more like pink. It was awful. So needless to say, I was wary about starting a new show like Lost Girl. I am a huge fan of Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson book series (it’s my favorite series ever), which features werewolves, a shapeshifter coyote, vampires, and fae. So I also had pretty high standards for that sort of show. Fortunately for me, the show was what I’d hoped for and more. Bo is actually quite likeable, Kenzi is too funny, and fucking hell…Dyson, the Light Fae police detective—is he a vampire? I couldn’t tell…—is HOT. The kiss he and Bo shared just before she went into battle was seriously like sex standing up and only using their lips and tongues. Eesh. lol They are going to have a relationship and I can’t wait to see it. I also know that Bo and Lauren, the female human doctor who works for The Ash and examined Bo when she was brought in, are going to end up in a relationship, too. My mind…it boggles.
On tonight’s episode, “Where There’s a Will, There’s a Fae,” Bo is approached for help by a supernatural creature that has been robbed of the cache of jewels that he has been collecting for multiple centuries, and he offers valuable information about Bo’s birth parents as payment.

Last week’s series premiere of Alcatraz was fabulous. I found the mysteries that unfolded to be edge of your seat interesting. This cast seems to be building some amazing chemistry already, which only means bigger and better performances as the season goes on. How great was Jorge Garcia as Dr. Diego Soto? It is so nice to have him back on our TV screens. I am looking forward to more complex and deeper mysteries – as well as some fabulous character evolution.
On tonight’s episode, “Kit Nelson,” child killer Kit Nelson, a terrifying kidnapper who always returns his victims home – after he’s killed them – reappears from the past, and the team is racing against the clock to catch him before he kills again.
