Jenny’s Thoughts: It looks good, scary, but may be way too complicated and “Lost-y” for me. – Most likely 1 and done
Megan’s Thoughts: This was an intense trailer, and I’m loving the dark edge to it. I enjoyed seeing Terry O’Quinn in this, and I’m glad he has a regular series. He plays evil well. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: I think the “made by” Gossip Girl/PLL folks said a lot – looks like a CW show but with an older cast. A cross between The Shining, American Horror Story, and The Firm. – Most likely 1 and done.

Jenny’s Thoughts: I like a lot of the actors, but I’m not sure the premise is different enough from other shows to succeed. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: It looks like one of those comedies I’ll tune into when there is nothing else I really want to watch. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: While the trailer didn’t have me laughing out loud, it looks like it could be fun. Though, with Kyle Bornheimer as the star, I suspect it won’t last through the season – his shows always seem to fail even though I usually enjoy them. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: This was one of my favorite trailers on ABC. Love the cast, love the premise, and the parents were great. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: I like Brad Garrett, but I love this story line. First of all, the mom kind of reminds of my sister with her habit of saying random inappropriate stuff. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: I like the female cast, though not a fan of Brad Garrett. Didn’t find the trailer that funny and not a fan of the bleeping, but will definitely give it a try. – Curious

Link to Last Resort on ABC.com.

Jenny’s Thoughts: There is almost no better cast as a whole for my husband & myself in the new shows. The premise is very interesting. Can it handle being a weekly show and not a mini-series or movie? I dunno. I’m worried it’ll be another Missing or even Alcatraz or Terra Nova. – Excited but cautious
Megan’s Thoughts: I really like this cast, and I can see where they might have a good premise, but I’m not super excited. While I’m happy about the cast, I won’t be devasted if it flops. – Most likely 1 and done
Kyle’s Thoughts: Like the cast, and premise sounds interesting. I’m a little wary of how they would be able to have the island and America interplay each week. It’s tough to tell if it will concentrate more on that or on island politics. – Curious

Link to Malibu Country on ABC.com.

Jenny’s Thoughts: Reba McEntire. Lily Tomlin. Sara Rue. That alone is enough to pull me in. I loved the trailer. LT was brilliant. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: I like Reba, but I’m not sure that this show is going to be a hit. It’s a little cheesy and little reminiscent of a show called Reba, isn’t it? – Most likely 1 and done
Kyle’s Thoughts: This feels like a classic TGIF sitcom, with a likeable cast. I could see families enjoying this together, but much like Last Man Standing, it’s just not for me. Just a bland run-of-the mill generic sitcom. – Most likely 1 and done.

Jenny’s Thoughts: I think this is too much like Desperate Housewives etc to me to keep my interest. I’m more into the cop/law/procedural-type shows. – Not even 1 and done. I’m going to skip this one.
Megan’s Thoughts: I’m not sure how I feel about this show, although I love Alyssa Milano. It’s sexy, that’s for sure, but it’s another twist on a Desperate Housewives / GCB – and that makes me think it may not survive. Why do we have to keep creating shows that are like shows we already had? Stop trying and just move on. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: Haven’t seen original UK show, but that’s always a red flag when a show is adapted. Once again, this is something that feels like a show for recent CW graduates–and the “from the writers of Gossip Girl” doesn’t help. Though, it does have some decent cast members. – Most likely 1 and done

Link to Nashville on ABC.com.

Jenny’s Thoughts: As much as I want to watch a show with country music and Connie Britton, I can’t muster up any enthusiasm for this one. I might like it more if there wasn’t a younger, bitchier star that is actively trying to steal everything away from her, just leaving her fighting against a generic younger generation of singers. – Not even 1 and done. I’m going to skip this one.
Megan’s Thoughts: I’m a little hesitant about another musical show, but I do like the cast and the clip looks somewhat interesting. I’m mildly optimistic. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: I’m not a country music fan, but looks entertaining, and I welcome another show with some original music performances mixed in as part of the story. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: This looks pretty funny. Whether or not it’ll catch on with enough viewers, I’m not sure. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: Very strange, slightly awkward, but totally enticing. I’ll give it a shot. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: This looks so absurd that it could be hilarious, or it could go the route of Suburgatory, where I loved the pilot and then it didn’t do much for me. I really enjoyed Jamie Gertz on Still Standing, so it’s great to see her get another show. – Excited

Jenny’s Thoughts: Again, I’m so not into the dramas like this. Too much drama without enough comedy or lightness to balance it out. – Not even 1 and done. I’m going to skip this one.
Megan’s Thoughts: Did they forget they cancelled Missing? I know, not exactly the same, but a pretty similar story line. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: Ghaa, it was looking good until that “from the writer of Twilight” popped up on the screen! However, I didn’t see any angsty teens or supernatural beings, so I’m still interested in seeing more. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: Ok, so this one’s a drama, too, but I love the premise so much and it’s Anthony Edwards (So glad to see him back in a starring role!), so I’ve got to give it a shot. Hopefully it won’t lose me easily with too much mystery and not enough answers. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: This looks interesting, deep, and exciting if they manage not to over do the mystery and give us pieces week by week. I’m intrigued. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: Looks like an exciting adventure show with a great cast. Kind of The DaVinci Code meets Missing. – Excited
