Tonight is the series premiere of Empire Girls on Style Network at 9/8c. The show follows Adrienne Bailon (Cheetah Girls) and Julissa Bermudez (106 & Park), two fabulous Latina best friends and starlets, in New York City as they strive to conquer the cutthroat world of show business and find love and happiness… by the time they turn 30! Julissa and Adrienne first met in 2006 as co-stars in MTV’s movie All You’ve Got. While filming, they became best friends, even requesting to share the same trailer. Since then, these fashionistas have been there for each other through thick and thin and loves and losses, making noise and a name for themselves along the way.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Head Games on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Have you ever wondered what exactly it is that makes us human? Discovery Channel invites you to find out in this new interactive series, where both viewers and on-screen subjects are challenged with brain games, mind puzzles, and social experiments. Narrated by John Krasinski (The Office), the show delves into the inner workings of the deeply complex human brain. Through the design and execution of social experiments you will see how everyday people on the streets perceive, conform, and make moral choices when in real-life situations… and what the brain is actually doing to dictate behavior or react to uncomfortable, and, at times, confrontational, circumstances.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Longmire on A&E at 10/9c. The show, a contemporary crime thriller set in Big Sky country, is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson. The series stars Australian actor Robert Taylor (The Matrix) as Walt Longmire, the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming, along with Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Lou Diamond Phillips (Numb3rs), Bailey Chase (Damages), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville) and newcomer Adam Bartley. Widowed only a year, Longmire is a man in psychic repair who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. Struggling since his wife’s death and at the urging of his daughter, Cady (Freeman), Longmire knows that the time has come to turn his life around. With the help of Vic (Sackhoff), a female deputy new to the department, he becomes reinvigorated about his job and committed to running for re-election. When Branch (Chase), an ambitious, young deputy decides to run against him for sheriff, Longmire feels betrayed but remains steadfast in his dedication to the community. Worn, but not worn out, Longmire often turns to close friend and confidant Henry Standing Bear (Phillips) for support as he sets out to rebuild both his personal and professional lives, one step at a time.

Tonight is the series premiere of Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America on Travel Channel at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. Travel Channel fan-favorite Adam Richman has sampled countless variations of this delectable and ingenious American icon, and now he is crisscrossing the country on a mission to find the most delicious sandwich ever created. The show documents Richman’s nationwide quest to find the best thing since sliced bread ON sliced bread. Using his own BITE SCALE (B=Bread, I=Interior, T=Taste, E=Eating Experience), Richman samples and judges the three most mouthwatering masterpieces a region has to offer. After naming a regional favorite in 10 geographical locales, each winning sandwich moves to the finals, to face off against each other and two secret wildcards – earning a chance to compete in the ultimate national championship – and fight for the title of “Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America.” Travel Channel fans will also have the opportunity to participate in the show. Viewers can log on to travelchannel.com to vote for a wildcard sandwich to compete in the running for “best sandwich in America.”

Tonight is also the series premiere of Fast n’ Loud on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Most people think the countless number of vintage vehicles rusting in overgrown fields, abandoned back lots, and musty garages across America are just junk. But for automotive mastermind Richard Rawlings and mechanical prodigy Aaron Kaufmann, these cars – from ’57 Chevys to ’73 Trans Ams – are goldmines. From Pilgrim Studios and Executive Producer Craig Piligian (American Chopper, Dirty Jobs) the show follows Rawlings and Kaufmann as they return these derelict rides to their former glory and get them back on the road – but not without putting their own spin on them first.

Tonight is the series premiere of Take Me Out on FOX at 8/7c. Based on the hugely successful international format, the show is a fast-paced, dynamic new series featuring 30 single women searching for a match and several brave bachelors who must make the ultimate first impression. With an extensive career that encompasses television series, film, and stand-up comedy, George Lopez will play matchmaker between the 30 female contestants and the men hoping for the chance to take one lucky lady out on an ultimate dream date.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Choice on FOX at 9/8c. Reality stars DJ Pauly D and Rob Kardashian, model Tyson Beckford, pro football superstars Rob Gronkowski and Ndamukong Suh, singer Joe Jonas and actors Carmen Electra and Dean Cain are among the celebrities who will vie for love on the hottest summer dating show. Hosted by Cat Deeley, The Choice is the ultimate blind date for celebrity bachelors and bachelorettes competing for the hearts of attractive singles – they can’t see.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Saving Hope on NBC at 9/8c. The show stars Erica Durance (Smallville), Michael Shanks (Stargate Atlantis), Daniel Gillies (The Vampire Diaries), Huse Madhavji (Combat Hospital), Julia Taylor-Ross (Rookie Blue) and Kristopher Turner (Rookie Blue, The Listener). When charismatic Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris (Shanks) at Hope-Zion Hospital ends up in a coma, he leaves the hospital in chaos — and his fiancée and fellow surgeon, Alex Reid (Durance), in a state of shock. Along with newly arrived star surgeon, Joel Goran (Gillies), Reid races to save Harris’ life. As the action unfolds, the comatose Harris explores the hospital halls in “spirit” form, not sure if he’s a ghost or a figment of his own imagination. Reid, along with her fellow doctors, press on to save his life and those of their other patients as they deal with the complicated and courageous decisions that are made in their daily struggle to keep hope alive.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Cajun Justice on A&E at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. The show follows the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, a world where the sheriff is like a king, voodoo is a common practice and no police call is routine. The detectives and deputies of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office are charged with serving and protecting over 2,000 square miles of treacherous swampland in Southern Louisiana. Located 45 miles south of New Orleans, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office investigates thousands of incidents every year. With the fiery personalities of the local Cajuns and the Louisiana justice system unlike any other (it’s the only state that is ruled under Napoleonic law), there’s no such thing as an ordinary police call. Whether it’s a creepy sighting of the Rougarou (“shape-shifting swamp monster”), a distressed neighbor reporting a stolen air conditioner during a heat wave, or a lead on a gruesome local serial-killer case; the deeper into the sticky swampland the deputies delve, the stranger and more mysterious the calls become. In the remote swamps, certain residents think the rules don’t apply to them and are more than willing to fight back. As the heat and humidity rises, so does the crime rate and unusual behavior.
