Wow, I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday. While Sunday was a busy TV night, I’m really enjoying this lighter time for TV. I’ve been able to catch up on a lot of the shows that were backed up on my TiVo, and I was even able to catch up on some TV-on-DVD and movies! Tonight is another pretty light night, but there’s a couple shows starting back up for the summer, so read on to find out what we’re recommending you check out.
Tonight, Royal Pains returns for its fourth season. When we last visited the Hamptons, Hank was mourning the death of his friend Jack, and Evan and Paige said their goodbyes as she prepared to head to England. Meanwhile, Boris’s cousin Claudette presented a business plan to HankMed for introducing new medical technologies to the US. When Hank and Evan differed in opinions on incorporating this into HankMed, Evan sad that due to his ownership of Divya’s shares, he had the final say – which caused Hank to quit and Evan to look to Dr. Paul Van Dyke as a replacement.
Is this the end of HankMed? I highly doubt it. I suspect things will be back to normal in no time. It just wouldn’t be summer without a trip to the Hamptons with Royal Pains! I’m looking forward to another season of fun and interesting cases and more Lawson family drama.
In tonight’s episode, “After the Fireworks,” Hank and Divya treat food-festival patrons, including a competitive eater and Jill’s brother, an amateur competitor. Evan, meanwhile, prepares to run his own business, while Jill wraps up her job at Hamptons Heritage.
Relax and enjoy the sun in the Hamptons tonight on USA at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Royal Pains @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Melissa & Joey and Around the World in 80 Plates.

So far, this season of So You Think You Can Dance has been off to a solid start with some stellar auditions. Last week, we watched that inspirational story of the brother and sister who got into the car accident but survived to dance. It was insane to believe that only 6 weeks prior, that boy had been in a coma and had a broken bone in his neck, and then he’s on the stage dancing like an angel. I was teary eyed.
On tonight’s auditions, they head to Atlanta to see if Georgia can bring the talent like the cities before. According to Cat Deeley during an interview yesterday, we’re going to see lots of hip-hop and street crews.
To see if Atlanta has all the right moves tune into FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of So You Think You Can Dance @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching Melissa & Joey.
This has been a great season for both Hot in Cleveland & Happily Divorced. I loved the story line on the first with Joy & guest star Kevin Nealon. Unfortunately, he’s gone, but it was still great. And on the second, one of my favorite things was how much they focused on Fran’s resentment toward Peter still on his coming out. It’s not something she can just sweep under the rug and get over easily, so while she still loves him and understands, it still is bound to cause some resentment & stuff. So it was good to see that. Tonight is the season finales for both. I’m sad, but they’ll be back, so that makes me happy. 🙂
On tonight’s episode of Hot in Cleveland, “Blow Outs,” when Melanie’s hair blow out lasts unusually long, Joy and Victoria demand to know who’s blowing her. When Melanie tries to keep it a secret from them, tensions arise amongst our ladies and the two rival hairdressers at Elka’s favorite salon. Regis Philbin & David Spade guest star.
Then on tonight’s episode of Happily Divorced, “Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place,” when Fran meets Frankie, an adorable New Yorker opening a pizza parlor in LA, she thinks she may finally have found “the one.” But when the restless Elliot pops back into Fran’s life and says he is finally ready to commit, Fran finds herself caught between a rock and a pizza place. Ralph Macchio guest stars.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Melissa & Joey, So You Think You Can Dance, Cajun Pawn Stars, Royal Pains, & Around the World in 80 Plates.
