Tonight is the series premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta on VH1 at 8/7c. The show is a tale of struggle, love, and temptation with a southern twist. Atlanta is the new frontier in entertainment, the Dirty South, where the opportunity to make it big in the rap game is always one hustle away. Competition is fierce in both the professional and personal arenas — they love hard but leave even harder. Among the main characters in this 10-episode series are Stevie J, a three-time Grammy Award-Winning producer who has worked with artists such as Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, Stevie’s longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, and a fiery up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline. There’s no shortage of drama with this strong-willed trio. Also featured are Lil Scrappy, best known for his 2006 smash hit, “Money in the Bank,” his girlfriend Erica Dixon, and his mother, a former hustler known as “Momma Dee.” The hometown hero, Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, is still searching for that big hit after years in the hip hop game, but she’s constantly at odds with her manager Kirk Frost – who also happens to be her husband. Rounding out the cast are the talented songbird K Michelle, and Trinidadian R&B singer Karlie Redd. They’re all chasing the dream in Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta..

Tonight is also the series premiere of Danger by Design on the Science Channel at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. Nik Wallenda, King of the Highwire and seventh generation descendent of the legendary Wallenda Family acrobatic troupe, is on a mission to bring his death-defying skills to a 21st century audience. On the heels of his latest unprecedented stunt — an attempt at a tightrope walk over Niagara Falls on June 15 — SCIENCE will premiere an all-new six part series, which documents Nik and his family as they create spectacular acts that cheat death through science, skill and discipline. The show delves into the family affair that is the business of the famous Wallenda family. The success of any of Nik’s acts — and, indeed, his very life — is dependent upon meticulous preparations to withstand the elements, conducted with a crew that includes his chief engineer (his uncle Mike), and his safety coordinator (his father Terry). From wind speed analysis to engineering explosives, Nik carries on his family’s legacy, pushing the limits of science further than ever before. For Nik and his family, even in the toughest of circumstances, the show must go on.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Miss Advised on Bravo at 10/9c. The show is a docu-series about three single relationship experts who make a living dispensing dating advice, but struggle to make their own love connections. Partnering with RelativityREAL and Ashley Tisdale’s Blondie Girl Productions, the series follows Julia Allison in Los Angeles, Amy Laurent in New York City, and Emily Morse in San Francisco as they maneuver through the dating world disregarding their own advice. When it comes to falling in love, these experts need to practice what they preach.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of The Glass House on ABC at 10:02/9:02c. This exciting and interactive real-time reality competition where viewers are in charge of the game proudly welcomes 14 contestants who will live and compete for a quarter of a million dollars in a totally wired, state-of-the-art house. Not only will they be playing against each other, they will also be playing to win over the viewing audience each week, as contestants are directed by the fans who control every move they make throughout the competition. Viewers will be encouraged to follow and support the contestants they like, with their votes – via online and social media avenues – helping to determine which contestants are sent home and also which eliminated players will earn the chance to return to “The Glass House” to compete each week. But viewer feedback doesn’t end there: Several times a week, viewers can watch a live online feed of the players, and vote to decide everything from what they wear and eat to the games they play, even where they sleep. In addition viewers will have the opportunity to give their favorite players feedback on their game from outside the house. How the contestants use that information is up to them, because in the end this is about who plays the best social game, so the most important alliances players can have are with their fans.

Tonight is the series premiere of Baby Daddy on ABC Family at 8:30/7:30c. The show is a hilarious new original comedy about a young man who becomes a surprise dad to a baby girl when she’s left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. It follows Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), a young man in his early 20’s living the life of a bachelor as a bartender in New York City with his buddy Tucker (Tahj Mowry) and his brother, a professional hockey player, Danny (Derek Theler). Their lives turn upside down when they come home one day to find a baby girl left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. After much deliberation, Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his friends and his protective and sometimes over-bearing mother Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) and his close female friend, Riley (Chelsea Kane), who has had a secret crush on him since childhood. Riley used to be the overweight girl next door who they called “fatpants,” but she has now blossomed into a beautiful young woman in law school. Riley’s hopeful that Ben will finally take notice, but she doesn’t realize that Ben’s brother, Danny, is harboring a secret crush on her.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Diamond Divers on Spike TV at 10/9c. Billions of dollars worth of diamonds lie undiscovered at the bottom of the ocean, waiting to change the lives of those with enough guts and skill to claim them. The show captures the epic journey of the fearless Captain John and his tough nautical crew as they put everything on the line to battle the treacherous seas of South Africa in search of buried diamonds under the sea. It chronicles the dangerous expedition of this enterprising maritime crew as they trek halfway around the world, from Washington State to the infamous Skeleton Coast off the dangerous coast of South Africa, an area renowned for shipwrecks and legendary storms, to mine for diamonds. Meeting them in South Africa are two young, hotshot divers from Houston, TX, who will need to adjust to having to report to Captain John. They will target what is believed to be the original mouth of the Groen River, a coveted spot thought to have an untouched jackpot of diamonds hidden deep in the trenches of the ocean floor. The crew is contracted by the international company Panda Marine, a diamond mining and exploration company specializing in marine mining.

The third series premiere tonight is Inside Men on BBC America at 10/9c. The show follows three security depot employees, who plan and execute a multi-million pound cash heist. Every day they watch as millions of pounds worth of cash is counted, bound and stored in a vault. They see more money than they could ever dream of earning slowly pass them by. That is, until they decide to take it. Gritty and gripping, this new four-part drama riddled with unexpected twists is a story told entirely from the perspectives of three men. They are not seasoned criminals. John (Steven Mackintosh, Luther) is manager of the cash counting house and is too scared to confront the humdrum normality of his life. Marcus (Warren Brown, Luther) is a forklift driver up to his eyes in debt and eager to prove himself to his friends and family. Chris (Ashley Walters, Outcasts) is a depot security guard determined to provide a better life for his family. They are everyday, hard-working men, who see an opportunity, weigh up the risks, and take a leap.

Then, it’s the series premiere of School Spirits on Syfy at 10/9c. From executive producer Mark Burnett, the show travels to schools and universities all across the country to recount the true ghost stories experienced on these academic campuses. The stories will be told in first person narratives through the testimonials of real students, teachers, parents and staff that have encountered the paranormal activity, blended with bone-chilling cinematic reenactments to further bring the haunting experiences to life.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of The Soul Man on TV Land at 10/9c. The show stars Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash and revolves around R&B superstar-turned-minister Reverend Boyce “The Voice” Ballentine (played by Cedric). Though he’s used to living in Las Vegas at the top of the music charts, he gets “the calling” and decides to relocate to St. Louis with his wife, Lolli (Nash) and his daughter, Lyric (Jazz Raycole), to take over the preaching duties in his father’s church. However, his family is not exactly eager to give up the fabulous superstar life for their new humble one. The comedy also stars John Beasley (Everwood) as Boyce’s father, Barton, and Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You) as his brother, Stamps.
