Only 2 more days left of school for my daughter, and while I’m excited about letting her sleep in—therefore avoiding the morning battles—I am starting to wonder what I’m going to do with her all summer. I’m pretty sure that anything involving duct tape will be helpful. What do you think? Comment below your best suggestions for keeping a 7-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy happy and busy during the summer please. 🙂 In the meantime, I have tonight planned out for TV at least, so let’s see what you should be watching.
It is the episode of So You Think You Can Dance where we finally get to meet the Top 20. I, for one, am interested to see where the judges’ loyalties go this year. I think that Cyrus should definitely go through because he’s so unique and talented. I just don’t know if the judges will put him through based on his lack of training. Time to bite the bullet and find out. 🙂 Do you have a favorite? Sound off below.
On tonight’s episode, we celebrate the 200th episode with guest judge Zooey Deschanel as well as the introduction of the Top 20 finalists.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Baby Daddy and Final Witness.

Last week’s premiere of Baby Daddy was really adorable. Ben, a free-wheeling guy in his early 20s, heard a knock on his door and opened it to find a baby on his doorstep. He was very unsure of himself, and he thought about signing the paperwork the mother had left relinquishing his rights so the baby could be put up for adoption. Then, when he was left alone with the baby, Riley (played by the absolutely adorable Chelsea Kane) got his brother and his friend to wait outside the apartment with her, and Ben bonded with his daughter, realizing he couldn’t give her up. It was exactly what Riley had wanted him to figure out.
I really loved the entire cast. His friends & family (his brother Danny and their mom, Bonnie, played by Melissa Peterman, from Reba) are terrific, and you can’t help but root for Ben. I was left at the end of the episode wanting more, wishing there was a second episode that night. This is a great pairing with the only other show on ABC Family that I watch, Melissa & Joey.
On tonight’s episode, “I Told You So,” Ben and the guys try to come up with a fool-proof babysitting schedule, but miscommunication and other priorities cause their plan to fall apart.
Check it out tonight on ABC Family at 8:30/7:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of Babby Daddy @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Melissa & Joey, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, Cajun Pawn Stars, Royal Pains, Around the World in 80 Plates, Coming Home, The Soul Man, & The Exes.
Tonight, the five remaining chefs on Around the World in 80 Plates head to Hong Kong. Last week, the chefs paired themselves into teams of two. For the main challenge, the teams had to make and sell one authentic dish on the streets of Thailand. The team that made the most money would be safe from elimination. However, since Nookie and John won the first challenge of this leg, they were given the opportunity to make two dishes and receive twice as much money to buy ingredients. In the end, they won by a landslide, mostly due to their second dish—a juice drink. While some of the other chefs thought it was unethical of them to water down their juice, Nookie insisted it was all part of the challenge—to make the most money, not the best product. The judges voted John MVC for the second week in a row, and when the elimination voting resulted in a tie, he decided to send Jenna home.
I was so glad to see Jenna leave—she was way too chatty, and last week, her constant complaining got really annoying. I understand that Nookie is playing a strategic game, but his attitude also isn’t that great. He definitely cares more about winning and doesn’t worry about who he has to step on or what low-quality product he turns out in order to get there. Right now, he has a partnership with John, and I hope John can utilize that to get to the end and win. As for who should go next, I think Avery and Liz are long overdue for elimination.
In tonight’s episode, “Feeding the Demon,” the chefs face Alvin “The Demon Chef” Leung, known for his innovative culinary creations. A teammate’s lack of passion brings one contestant to a breaking point.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, Dallas, Royal Pains, Inside Men, and Futurama.
