Welcome to a new work week. Because of the Olympics, new TV is still kind of slow. But there’s some great stuff on each night, and we’re going to be bringing you our recommendations…including tonight. 🙂 So check out what we think you should be watching tonight.
What a crazy, crazy season so far of Warehouse 13. It got even more ominous last week when one of the Brothers from the first episode arrived, asking Artie for help in tracking down the mising Astrolabe. Claudia found Steve’s body. Artie tried to stop her, but after Jane Lattimer showed up to give permission, Claudia used the metronome and brought him back to life. Because the Regents didn’t actually give permission and because they aren’t sure what repercussions it will have on him, Steve will be on permanent supervision. It will be interesting to see how all the dire predictions pan out. Can Steve integrate back into the team? Will Claudia go evil and kill (or try to kill) Artie? Eek!
On tonight’s episode, “Personal Effects,” all hands are on deck to prevent a small town from being wiped off the map when a box of artifacts is accidently unleashed. Brian J. Smith (Stargate Universe) guest stars as Jesse, a small-time thief who accidentally comes into possession of a dangerous weather-controlling artifact after robbing a safe house belonging to the late Walter Sykes. Dee Wallace-Stone also guest stars.

Bunheads has quickly become one of my weekly pleasures, and last week’s episode was really good. I have been loving how Fanny just left Michelle in charge of the studio with all the new classes, a leaky dressing room—it’s absolute chaos. Michelle has been learning a hard lesson about how you can’t just be the student’s friend; you have to find a happy balance between friend and boss. Boo is an adorable, quirky character who we continually strive to see succeed—I love how we have seen her blossom, and I’m looking forward to seeing even more.
On tonight’s episode, “Blank Up, It’s Time,” Michelle learns that Fanny has a long-distance boyfriend; Fanny gives Boo a coveted role in an upcoming performance after Sasha acts up.
To see how Sasha reacts to being demoted, tune in to ABC Family at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bunheads @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing 2012 Olympics, Perception, and Teen Wolf.
Tonight is the second season’s penultimate episode of Teen Wolf. Last week, it was like a mini Assault on Precinct 13. Scott and Stiles told Sheriff Stalinski that Matt was the one responsible for the murders. While they reviewed the evidence at the police station, Matt showed up with a gun, ordering them to destroy the evidence and lock themselves in a cell. Meanwhile, Derek showed up but was attacked by the kanima, and Scott’s mother also arrived at the station, but Matt locked her in a cell and shot Scott before her eyes. The Argents also arrived at the crowded station, looking for Derek, and a huge fight broke out. In the process, Scott’s mom saw everything—the kanima, werewolf Derek, and even Scott wolfing out! At the end of the episode, Gerard dragged a defeated Matt to a nearby pond and drowned him. Then he shook hands with the kanima, apparently becoming its new master.
I don’t know how they are going to top last week’s action-packed episode tonight! Every character seems to have his or her own agenda, and it conflicts with those of the others. We keep seeing plans fail and fights break out because the Argents are trying to do one thing (or two, in the case of Grandpa, who seems to have his own secret motives) while Derek has his own goal and Scott still another. Now that Mrs. McCall knows about this whole supernatural world, how will that change things? And what are Gerard’s plans with the kanima? Maybe it’s a secret weapon against the werewolves? But why is the kanima OK but werewolves are bad?!
In tonight’s episode, “Battlefield,” Scott plays in the championship lacrosse game and must also figure out a way to stop Gerard. Meanwhile, Allison continues her hunt for Derek and his wolves.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Glass House, Bunheads, The Closer, Perception, Warehouse 13, and Alphas.
