What a great Monday night of TV last night. I swear, this season is making me smile so hard. Tonight is going to do the same, I just know it. There’s a ton of great stuff on, so check out what we recommend. 🙂
Last week’s Sons of Anarchy was so heartbreaking. I did not want Opie to die. I really loved him. If any of the four deserved to die, it was Tig, obviously. I’m not sure there’s anything redeeming about his character—maybe loyalty, but I dunno. Watching Jax watch Opie die was just one of the most heart-wrenching things I’ve seen in a while. And don’t even get me started on Gemma. What a piece of work she is. She & Clay deserve each other, that’s all I can say. I can’t wait to see if either or both of them go down this season. Gah. And Pope? Yowzers. Burning a young girl alive while her father watched a few weeks ago and then sending one of the guys to their death last week? He’s a really nice guy, huh?
On tonight’s episode, “Stolen Huffy,” (what a benign episode title! LOL) complications arise as the Sons band together to face a new adversary.

Hart of Dixie premiered last season and quickly became one of my favorite romantic comedies. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this show, considering it’s on The CW, but also because I wasn’t expecting it to be as intriguing. In the season finale, Zoe jumped into bed with Wade, and they discovered that they have incredible chemistry. Unfortunately, George showed up and told Zoe that he called off the wedding because he had feelings for her. What’s a girl to do? Everything she wants falls in her lap, but she’s torn about hurting Wade. In my opinion, she should choose Wade because George is always so indecisive—and I like a strong, decisive man.
On tonight’s episode, “I Fall to Pieces,” Zoe feels torn between George and Wade. Meanwhile, Lemon returns her wedding gifts and makes strides toward independence; and Zoe befriends returning resident Ruby Jeffries, who doesn’t receive a warm welcome from the town.
To see who Zoe chooses, tune in to The CW at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hart of Dixie @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing NCIS, NCIS: LA, The Voice, New Girl, The New Normal, Ben and Kate, Vegas, and The Mindy Project.
Tonight, FOX Tuesdays get a little bit funnier with the return of Raising Hope. When we last saw the Chances, a tabloid TV show did a profile on Hope’s no-so-dead serial-killer mother, which resulted in a big custody battle. Soon after Lucy won custody of Hope, she decided that she wanted a family with Jimmy. So she chased Sabrina down the street with a knife, trying to kill her, but was hit by a bus in the process, causing Jimmy to once again get custody.
I can’t wait for the new season—this show is always so wacky and fun. No matter how bad the situation, the Chances always seem to make the best of it and come out on top in their own unique way!
In tonight’s episode, “Not Indecent, But Not Quite Decent Enough Proposal,” the Chances meet Sabrina’s mother at the funeral for her grandmother, whose videotaped last will and testament looms large in Jimmy and Sabrina’s relationship.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Voice, Go On, The New Normal, Parenthood, Ben and Kate, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Hart of Dixie, Sons of Anarchy, Flipping Out, Chopped, Face Off, Hot Set, Chef Race: U.K. vs U.S., and Abby & Brittany.
Last week, The Mindy Project premiered, and I loved it a lot. Mindy Kaling (writer and actor for The Office) is a funny lead, clumsy in life but in control as an OB/GYN. And I love what Chris Messina (from The Newsroom, Damages, Six Feet Under, and on the big screen, Vicky, Christina, Barcelona and Devil) appears to bring to the show. The ratings weren’t spectacular but were high enough to keep the show on the air (maintaining most of the New Girl audience).
On tonight’s episode, “Hiring and Firing,” Mindy is responsible for hiring a new nurse and offers the position to a ex-convict, while Jeremy (played by Ed Weeks) fires a problematic elderly nurse.
See it play out at 9:30/8:30c on Fox. Learn where to find episodes online of The Mindy Project @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching New Girl and Go On.
