Yay for being Friday! I am so glad it’s nearly the weekend. It’s been a great week for TV, but my DVR is full. I need the weekend to catch up! LOL We also have plans to spend some time together as a family playing cards and stuff this weekend, so it’s just another reason I’m glad it’s Friday. You? 🙂 Now, see what we think you should be watching to ease you into the weekend. 😀
Originally my pick was going to be Blue Bloods (it looks like it’ll be a great episode, as always), but then I finally watched the premiere of Made in Jersey yesterday, and I LOVED it. I love that Martina is so smart about figuring out clues and helped to clear the girl accused of murder on last week’s episode. The guest cast is great, too. I love the people at her firm (I hope it doesn’t end up like Franklin & Bash, where I started to dislike their coworkers so much, I stopped watching…) and her family. I also hope the writers make it like Blue Bloods, where half of the fun of the show is the cases, but the other half is the family interaction. I loved that part of the premiere, so I’m hopeful it will continue.
On tonight’s episode, “Cacti,” while going through “jail mail,” Martina finds a letter from a client who was institutionalized after pleading insanity for manslaughter, and is now lucid and claims innocence. Meanwhile, Bonnie introduces her new boyfriend to the family. Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) guest stars as Tommy Ligand, Martina’s ex-boyfriend.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing CSI: NY, Grimm, Fringe, Blue Bloods, & Haven.

Grimm makes my Friday nights a better place to be just by gracing my television with its intense suspense and amusing banter. Week after week, I am always amazed at the level of writing this show continues to produce. When they finally brought Hank into the circle of people who knew about the Wesen, I was super happy because that means that Nick isn’t as alone as he was and that he won’t have to work as hard to cover things up—not to mention that Hank is hilarious when he sees them shift, more like how I think I’d be if someone shifted into a wolf in front of me. I’m not liking the Juliet and Nick storyline, but I guess we’ll have to trust the writers to steer us right.
On tonight’s episode, “Over My Dead Body,” Monroe’s old flame Angelina returns with a warning that he may be in danger due to his continuing alliance with Nick. Meanwhile, Hank expands his Wesen knowledge while working with Nick to protect Monroe.
To see if my favorite character Monroe makes it through, tune in to NBC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grimm @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Blue Bloods, CSI: NY, Made in Jersey, Jessie, Haven, and Secret Princes.
I can’t wait for another exciting episode of Fringe tonight! Last week, the Fringe team searched for Olivia’s frozen body, but Walter was captured by the Observers in the process. They interrogated him, trying to extract his secret plans for defeating them. Meanwhile, the others located Olivia and released her from the amber. During the tearful reunion, we learned that Peter and Olivia had separated soon after the Observers arrived. The reunited gang broke into the facility where Walter was being held and rescued him but discovered that the Observers had erased his memories of the plans.
Will they be able to restore Walter’s memories and figure out how to defeat the Observers?! What kind of effect will Walter’s memory loss have on his already unstable personality? Will Peter and Olivia rekindle their relationship now that their family is whole again? There are only twelve episodes left, so I will need to savor each one!
In tonight’s episode, “In Absentia,” members of the Fringe team go to Walter’s former lab at Harvard looking for crucial information that could aid their current rebellion against the Observer overlords.
Don’t miss the excitement tonight on FOX at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Fringe @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Made in Jersey, Primetime: What Would You Do?, Haven, and Strike Back.
With this Remote choice, I’m returning to one of my guilty pleasures: America’s Next Top Model. Overall, I still don’t like or care about the contestants, but it’s very interesting to see the new judging format. The points the judges hand out really differ a lot sometimes, and I don’t always agree. But at least the contestants have a better idea of what they could work on.
On tonight’s episode, “The Girl Who Licks the Floor,” the girls go on a college road trip to Palm Springs while finishing their challenge of taking pictures of random acts of modeling. And when they finally arrive at their kitschy motel, they are surprised with a down-and-dirty photo shoot.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching Fringe and Haven.
