I love the weekend… This is going to be an odd week for me, though, so I’m preparing myself already… It’s spring break here in our school district. That’s usually a great thing for my kiddo, but this year, his best friend who lives across the street, had his spring break LAST week. He attends a private school, and the last few years, they’ve scheduled it for the same week as the public school system in town. Not so, this year. Dunno why. But it seriously put a crimp into my son’s plans. Luckily, even tonight, there’s some great TV on to distract us both. 😉 Happy St. Patrick’s Day, by the way. Hope you’re wearing green so you don’t get pinched! 😉
Last week on The Mentalist, we watched two more of Patrick Jane’s hopes of finding Red John disappear down the drain as Lorelei Martins killed the man who delivered her sister to Red John to be killed, and then she left in order to find Red John and kill him for it. She hadn’t believed until that moment that RJ had been the one to kill her sister, but once she did, she was going to take him down. Unfortunately, that led to her death. Red John killed her and left his signature red painted face over the body. It was a mixed bag of emotions for Jane, who was unhappy because that meant she couldn’t help him find the man responsible for murdering his wife and daughter, but he also said she got what she deserved.
I love this show, but I do miss the focus being more on the cases the team is working than on Jane’s hunt for Red John. I don’t mind the RJ hunt being there and in the background, coming out to play every so often…but it’s kind of getting old. I hope we either get some resolution to it soon or they focus back on the work Jane is doing with the CBI. Also, how cute is Rigsby now that he’s admitted to still having feelings for Van Pelt?? Maybe once Amanda Righetti is back from maternity leave, they will FINALLY get together!
On tonight’s episode, “Red, White and Blue,” the CBI team investigates when the body of a female army medic who worked with soldiers with PTSD is found near a military base. Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13) guest stars on tonight’s ep!!
Don’t miss it tonight on CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Mentalist @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Bible, Worst Cooks in America, & Vikings.

The Amazing Race has been very amusing so far, which is good because after so many seasons, I was worried it would get stale. I think the thing that is letting this season keep my attention is the diversity of the teams, but also the lack of common sense. Last week, we watched Jessica and John make an intensely stupid mistake by not using their express pass and falling behind—which led to them being the first team in the history of the race to ever be eliminated while holding an express pass. Dave and Connor have been doing amazingly well considering Dave’s injured Achilles heel. I still don’t really have a favorite team, but I do enjoy the derby moms.
On tonight’s episode, “Your Tan is Totally Cool,” as the contestants face a double U-turn in Hanoi, Vietnam, one team receives crushing news.
To see if your favorite team stays in the race, tune in to CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Amazing Race @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching The Mentalist, Vikings, and The Walking Dead.
Bob’s Burgers is easily my favorite animated series on the air right now. Last week, Louise’s plans to slide by and reuse her previous science fair project were dashed when the new Thomas Edison-obsessed science teacher announced that all projects must be Edison-related. In order to get back at the teacher, Louise decided to expose one of the inventor’s darkest secrets—that one of his experiments resulted in the electrocution of an elephant. Gene and Tina helped Louise with her elaborate plan and presentation, which included them lipsynching to Mr. Fischoeder (Kevin Kline) and Gayle (Megan Mullally) singing “Electric Love.”
Bob’s Burgers has been so great this season, and that is primarily due to the Belcher kids. Each has his or her own unique personality, and when they all join together, it’s so much fun. Insert grumpy Bob and always-excited Linda into the mix, and it only adds to the hilarity.
On tonight’s episode, “Two for Tina,” Tina dates a ballet dancer, which leads to a dance-off between him and a jealous Jimmy Jr.
To see who wins the dance-off, tune in to FOX at 9:30/8:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bob’s Burgers @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, The Mentalist, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Worst Cooks in America, The Walking Dead, Vikings, and Shameless.
Last week was a thrilling episode of Once Upon a Time and provided some much-needed backstory for Cora. Unfortunately, this was also the episode she died due to Mary Margaret. It will be very interesting to see how this continues going forward.
On tonight’s episode, “Welcome to Storybrooke,” Emma, David, and Mr. Gold must protect Mary Margaret against a revengeful Regina, while Henry devises a plan to get rid of all magic. And a flashback to 28 days earlier has Regina discovering a father and son that found their way into Storybrooke after a newly cast curse.
See if the group can keep Mary Margaret safe tonight on ABC at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Once Upon a Time @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Revenge and The Walking Dead.
