I don’t know about you guys, but Monday nights are one of my busiest nights for new TV so far this summer—and I love it. There was so much great stuff on that I had a very happy evening in front of the TV. 😀 Hopefully Megan is able to keep up, since her stepdaughter has been in and of the doctor’s office with a bum knee. The doctors can’t get their crap together to save a life! So our love goes out to Kristina! 🙂 Now, on to what Megan & I think you should be watching tonight: Reality competition shows!
My pick tonight is one that Megan & JJ love too, but I snagged it this week. So You Think You Can Dance has always been a fun show for me to watch. I hate that FOX cut it down to once a week last season, although it worked better than I thought it would. I miss having it on twice a week—especially with other…crappier…shows still having twice a week airings. But last week’s episode was kind of brutal. The Vegas callbacks are always hard, but man, it seemed like the choreographers were extra tough this time around. And that’s actually okay, because in the end, we have some amazing dancers waiting to find out if they made it into the Top 20. Honestly, there are more I like this season than I think I’ve liked in…years, maybe. I already have my personal favorites who will no doubt make it into the Top 20, but I guess we’ll have to see!
On tonight’s episode, “Meet the Top 20,” the Top 20 finalists—10 guys and 10 girls—are revealed to America! After the announcement, the dancers will perform, free of any judgment, so that the nation can get to know them and their talents.
To see which favorites earned one of the coveted spots, tune in to FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Got Talent, Counting Cars, Total Blackout, Chopped, & Exit.

I almost can’t believe it’s time for The Voice finale already! We have the top 3 of The Swon Brothers, Michelle Chamuel, and Danielle Bradbery, and it’s a pretty tight race. Truth be told, I think that Michelle has it, because she seems to be a fan favorite, but I’d be happy with either Michelle or The Swon Brothers winning. Last night, I really enjoyed the coaches singing together, because let’s face it… Usher, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton on a stage is a whole lot of sexy and delicious. 🙂
On tonight’s finale, we watch the winner get crowned the official “Voice.”
Tune in for fun guests and to see who wins on NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching So You Think You Can Dance, Counting Cars, and Pretty Little Liars.
