Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Crossing Lines on NBC at 9/8c. This new action-packed global crime drama taps into a unit mandated by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate cross-border crimes and ultimately bring global criminals to justice. The show is set in the world’s most exotic locales, where an elite team of eager cops work to solve the most notorious international crimes. The series stars William Fichtner (Prison Break) as Carl Hickman, a wounded New York cop, pulled from the edge by a group of unlikely saviors, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games) as Michel Dorn, an inspector in the International Criminal Court, and Marc Lavoine (The Good Thief) as Louis Daniel, the head of an elite cross-border police unit who hunts down the world’s most brutal criminals. Also starring in the series are Gabriella Pession (Wilfred) as Europol sergeant Eva Vittoria, Moon Dailly (Black Heaven) as French detective and criminal analyst Anne-Marie San, Richard Flood (Titanic: Blood and Steel) as Irish detective Tommy McConnel, and Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) as Berlin police officer Sebastian Berger. Through globalization, many countries have been opened and barriers removed to ensure easy trade, travel and cultural diversity. However, this openness has given opportunities to criminals looking to exploit the system and ultimately threaten our global safety. As Europe has become a “safe house” for criminals eluding law enforcers, a special kind of law enforcement team is needed to handle specific ongoing crimes on a global level. Crossing Lines is the story of one such team, made up of five international cops, headed by Captain Daniel. The team – comprised of individuals who have little in common – must learn to live and work under the most dangerous and potentially deadly conditions. Housed in an unused storage section underneath the ICC, this mismatched team faces bureaucratic, jurisdictional and cultural obstacles while traversing continents in pursuit of justice.

It’s also the series premiere of Whodunnit? on ABC at 9/8c. The show puts 13 contestants’ investigative skills to the test in a mystery reality competition. Each week, players will use a variety of crime scene investigation techniques to meticulously uncover evidence that will ultimately reveal who among them is the killer. The interactive series will pit 13 amateur sleuths against each other in a quest to solve a series of puzzling murders. Some will form alliances and others will choose to go it alone just to get them closer to the grand prize. The contestants will reside on a glamorous estate where each week they must solve a new crime in order to advance in the game. Failure to solve the crime will lead to a player’s demise, until only three are left. In the final episode, one player will unmask the killer and take home the $250,000 prize.

The third series premiere is Devious Maids on Lifetime at 10/9c. The ensemble all-star cast, Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Dania Ramirez (Entourage), Roselyn Sanchez (Without a Trace), Edy Ganem (Livin’ Loud), and Judy Reyes (Scrubs), portray five maids with ambition and dreams of their own while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. In Devious Maids, produced by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives), murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty, outrageous and downright devilish as their employers. Whoever holds the dirt holds the power, and before the season is over, illicit affairs will be revealed and deep dark secrets exposed as we learn the sordid details behind a shocking murder of a beloved housemaid.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Naked & Afraid on Discovery Channel at a special time of 10:20/9:20c. What happens when you put a man and a woman – sans clothes – in one of the most remote areas of the world? Discovery takes “survival of the fittest” to the next level in this new show, where each week, a new pair of complete and total strangers – one man and one woman – will find themselves stranded in and, quite literally, exposed to one of the world’s most extreme weather environments. This duo will be left high and dry with no food, no water… and no clothes. They must survive on their own for a full 21 days, with nothing but one personal item each and the knowledge that the only prize is their pride and sense of accomplishment. These brazen and bold couples will get acquainted with each other -and their new surroundings – very quickly, forcing them to question and test everything they may think they know about their acquired survival skills and instincts.
