As I write this up Tuesday morning, it’s nice and rainy outside. I love that kind of day, although it does mean I may be taking a nap later, because it really is perfect “nap weather.” LOL Regardless, I’ll make time to catch up on last night’s TV I didn’t see yet…and definitely before tonight, because it’s full of its own new episodes. Read on to see our recommendations. 🙂
Person of Interest is getting more and more intense regarding Carter and HR. I TOTALLY called the fact that her young partner was HR, but last week shocked even me. Turns out, Cartner knew about him. Not only that, but she’s been surveilling other HR members, taking photos and gathering intel and evidence. Then, at the end, her partner took her out for a drink, supposedly to talk through a problem he was having with a fellow officer—and that fellow officer turned out to be Carter herself. She had anticipated it and had his gun, setting him up by shooting the bar owner, who was in on it. Meanwhile, the POI for the week turned out to be a little girl, and she was freakin’ awesome. She got the drop on Shaw, who started off (okay, and ended…) very awkward with the little girl. By the end of the episode, Shaw actually hugged the girl, clearly feeling some affection for the girl. It was really great.
On tonight’s episode, “Mors Praematura,” freed from her psych ward confinement, Root receives a directive from The Machine that requires Shaw’s assistance – by any means necessary – and takes extreme measures to gain her compliance. Also, Reese and Finch look for clues as to why a mild-mannered estate investigator’s number has come up. Kirk Acevedo (Fringe) guest stars.
Find out if Shaw can stay safe from the crazy Root tonight on CBS at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing NCIS, NCIS: LA, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, & Chopped.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.
NCIS: LA is one of the few shows that I always watch live because I love it that much. There’s something about this cast and the writing that makes it so this show never gets old to me. Watching Kensi and Deeks’s partnership skirt around the sexual tension this season has been well done, but I want more. I also want more movement on the front of Nell and Eric’s relationship. Those two are so perfect together. My need for relationships-growth aside, I’m always happy when I’m watching, and I think you should definitely find your happy place with this show as well.
On tonight’s episode, “Big Brother,” when a teenager compromises terrorist missions, Callen goes undercover at a high school.
To see how Callen’s trip back to high school goes, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching NCIS, The Voice, The X Factor, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, Person of Interest, Ravenswood, The Originals, and Little People, Big World.
Tonight, Syfy kicks off the new reality series Naked Vegas, which finds a team of talented body makeup artists putting together elaborate artistic displays for their Las Vegas clients. What makes this show really unique is that all of the models (both female and male) are completely naked—the artists must paint their models from head to toe, literally creating their clothes out of paint. From the trailers, it looks pretty amazing what these artists are able to do—from realistic-looking costumes, to blending the models into complex backgrounds. Face Off did an episode like this a few seasons ago, and I found it fascinating—I’m really looking forward to seeing what these artists can do.
On tonight’s episode, “Paint the Town, Red,” a zombie-theme wedding at Eli Roth’s Goretorium keeps the Skin Team busy.
See the artists at work tonight on Syfy at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, Chopped, Face Off, and Awkward.
