Tonight is the series premiere of Crisis on NBC at 10/9c. It’s field trip day for the students of Ballard High School, a place that educates the children of Washington D.C.’s elite, top-of-their-industry CEOs, international diplomats, political power players, and even the president’s son. But when their bus is ambushed on a secluded rural road, the teenagers and their chaperones are taken, igniting a national crisis. Now with some of the country’s most powerful parents at the mercy of one vengeful mastermind, the question arises: How far would you go and what would you become to ensure your child’s safe return? With so many parents and dignitaries put into play with nowhere to turn and no one to trust, this unthinkable scenario grows from the select families at risk to an entire nation at stake.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Naked After Dark on Discovery Channel at 10:32/9:32c. Following each new episode of Naked and Afraid, host Josh Wolf will talk to the castaways from that night’s Naked and Afraid to get a more in-depth look at what those 21 days were actually like. Naked After Dark will also include celebrity guests, other familiar Discovery faces, behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen Naked and Afraid footage and in-studio stunts. The new talk show will also have a large social media aspect to it, allowing viewers to interact directly – and immediately – with Josh Wolf and the Naked After Dark guests.

Tonight is the series premiere of Lords of the Car Hoards on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Every year finding unrestored classic American cars is becoming a thing of the past. But there’s a secret treasure trove of automotive relics that still exists: Car Hoards — the last frontier of the American Classic Car. Now, WWE superstar Chuck Palumbo and hot rod guru, Rick Dore are out to rebuild legendary cars and help car hoarders thin out their stockpiles of classic cars. Each episode features Palumbo and Dore helping car hoarders by offering them a deal: pick one dream car from their overcrowded car collection to rebuild while covering the costs of the remake by parting with and selling other cars and car parts from their massive hoard. Every hoard is a surprise, a treasure hunt, and Palumbo and Dore don’t always know what they’re getting into. Junky hoards mean tight budgets and tight deadlines which is unknown in the custom car world. The pressure is on and they don’t always get along, but together they have a passion for cars that touches these hoarders’ lives, changing them forever.

Tonight is the series premiere of Save My Bakery on Food Network at 8/7c. Stale bakeries turn to expert Kerry Vincent to revive their sweets and their sales in this new series. Armed with years of baking experience and a no-nonsense approach, Kerry is on a mission to reinvigorate local bakeries, putting them back on their neighborhood radar. In hopes of also mending the strained relationships behind the struggling establishments, Kerry helps families heal and put the pieces of their failing business back together. From bolstering old doughnut recipes to improving employee morale, Kerry turns poor pastries into delectable desserts and outdated spaces into truly sweet spots.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The 100 on The CW at 9/8c. Ninety-seven years ago, nuclear Armageddon decimated planet Earth, destroying civilization. The only survivors were the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space stations that were in orbit at the time. Three generations have been born in space, the survivors now number 4,000, and resources are running out on their dying “Ark” – the 12 stations now linked together and repurposed to keep the survivors alive. Draconian measures including capital punishment and population control are the order of the day, as the leaders of the Ark take ruthless steps to ensure their future, including secretly exiling a group of 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth’s surface to test whether it’s habitable. For the first time in nearly a century, humans have returned to planet Earth. Among the 100 exiles are Clarke, the bright teenage daughter of the Ark’s chief medical officer; Wells, son of the Ark’s Chancellor; the daredevil Finn; and the brother/sister duo Bellamy and Octavia, whose illegal sibling status has always led them to flaunt the rules. Technologically blind to what’s happening on the planet below them, the Ark’s leaders – Clarke’s widowed mother, Abby; the Chancellor, Jaha; and his shadowy second in command, Kane – are faced with difficult decisions about life, death and the continued existence of the human race. For the 100 young people on Earth, however, the alien planet they’ve never known is a mysterious realm that can be magical one moment and lethal the next. With the survival of the human race entirely in their hands, THE 100 must find a way to transcend their differences, unite and forge a new path on a wildly changed Earth that’s primitive, intense and teeming with the unknown. The series stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco (Person of Interest, Damages), Thomas McDonell (Suburgatory), Eli Goree (Emily Owens, M.D.), Marie Avgeropoulos (50/50), Bob Morley, Kelly Hu (X2: X-Men United, Arrow), Christopher Larkin (Squad 85), Devon Bostick (Aim High), Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy), and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost, Scandal).

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Doll & Em on HBO at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. Written by and starring real-life best friends Emily Mortimer (The Newsroom) and Dolly Wells (Bridget Jones’s Diary), this new half-hour semi-improvised comedy explores what happens when a Hollywood actress hires her childhood friend as a personal assistant while making a film in Los Angeles. A bittersweet, intimate portrait of female friendship, the series follows their relationship through unexpected complications and surprising twists.
