I had a really wonderful birthday weekend that included a barbeque with some of my friends and family. There was great food, drinks, laughs and even more exciting…fireworks! Now that my celebration is over, let’s see what’s we’re recommending tonight to keep the party going.
This season of American Ninja Warrior has been very exciting so far, and I have been enjoying it a lot. One of my favorite moments was watching Kacy Catanzaro finish the qualifying course in Dallas, making her the first woman to ever finish this course. She was so fierce and strong, giving little girls (and adults too) a role model to look up to. The courses are intense and the athletes even more so. Love it! If you haven’t been watching, you definitely should.
On tonight’s episode, “St. Louis Finals,” the top 30 competitors travel to St. Louis, where they take on the St. Louis Finals course.
To see these athletes demonstrate their amazing abilities, tune in to NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching Hotel Hell, MasterChef, Teen Wolf, and Mistresses.

I’ve said it a lot, but I’ll say it again… I love Whose Line Is It Anyway? because it’s just incredibly fun. Even though I’ve seen each of the games what feels like a million times, every time makes me laugh so hard, sometimes I choke, sometimes I cry, but I laugh every time. Last week, Mel B (from the Spice Girls and a judge on America’s Got Talent) was the celebrity guest. She was pretty good, but what was best were the reactions from the guys. They kept staring and leering and flirting, kept talking about how good she smelled, etc. It was pretty funny.
On tonight’s episode, The Big Bang Theory start Kunal Nayyar joins Ryan, Wayne, Colin, and Brad Sherwood in a series of spontaneous improv games based on suggestions from a live studio audience. The cast relies on their own imaginations and sense of humor to act out comedy skits and songs.
See how well Kunal can perform improv tonight on The CW at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing MasterChef, American Ninja Warrior, Major Crimes, Longmire, & Murder in the First.
While I’ve dropped most of Gordon Ramsay’s “angry & yelling” shows from my DVR, there’s still one I’ve held on to. I am looking forward to tonight’s season premiere of Hotel Hell. I really enjoyed the first season of this series, which finds Gordon heading to failing hotels, bed & breakfasts, and inns to help the owners figure out what is going wrong and address the issues before these business are forced to close their doors. It’s a lot like Kitchen Nightmares, but with hotels instead of restaurants. Tonight’s premiere airs immediately following MasterChef, giving fans a double-dose of Gordon Ramsay!
On tonight’s episode, “Meson de Mesilla,” Ramsay checks into a New Mexico hotel that’s run by an owner who’s more interested in singing than in managing the property.
To see if Gordon can help Meson de Mesilla, tune in to FOX at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Under the Dome, MasterChef, Seed, Backpackers, Switched at Birth, Major Crimes, Murder in the First, and Teen Wolf.
